Christmas at School, PJ party!

The last day of school at Crossville Christian School was a Pajama Party! The kids were super excited!! I must confess that allowing them to sleep in the PJs, and getting up in the morning already dressed for school was a nice change to the routine!
Ms. Tracey set a gorgeous breakfast table for Johnathan and Joseph's class. The pancake breakfast and party was wonderful. The children learned so much from the poems, dining, and games!

Jayne Elizabeth's class had a PJ party too!! Jayne Elizabeth was thrilled because the day before she received "princess pajamas" from Aunt Kim!!! She didnt take these pajamas off for days! Ms Dana and I helped organize and host the party because Ms Aprel is recovering from knee surgery. The substitute teacher is Ms. Susan, we were all there together! The kids were happy to see both teachers on the last day of school!

Precious prayers, these little ones melt my heart.
For the craft we made edible Christmas trees from ice cream cones!

Dear Santa---

We traveled to Nashville for Johnathan's last cast/braces appointment and I brought Lacey and all the kids! We made a day of it!! We went to see Aunt Kim and exchanged presents with her at the high school where she works! The kids were in awe of the high school boys at basketball practice!! Our boys have a new technique on the court, defense!!! Then we went to the Rain Forrest Cafe for a special lunch. Next door was the Bass Pro Shop where we go every year to see Santa!! We have decided to support our kids imagination and Santa, unless they directly ask if Santa is real. So far, we have not been put in the place to lie to them. I am hoping for at least one more year of the belief in Santa! After all, it is the spirit of giving that keeps Santa alive. We know in our house the best gift of all is the birth of Jesus!
Dear Santa-
Johnathan and Joseph would like a remote control monster truck!
Jayne Elizabeth would like a princess castle, Barbies, and shoes!

 Merry Christmas!
