Yes, we're twins..

This has been a big few weeks for the boys! Johnathan is now over 18 lbs, and Joseph 16 lbs! Not bad for babies born in the 4 lb range!! God is so good!! The boys are 9 months old!! Joseph is taking his first steps and Johnathan is consistently saying "mmmm, mmmm, mmmaaa, mmmmaaa!" I love it!! We will start working on Dada! We introduced dairy to their diet, and they just can't get enough yogurt and shredded cheese! They are farmers, I just know it! The boys are so fun, and we just are reminded to enjoy these times.

Let it snow...

This morning was beautiful! Our yard was white with two inches of snow!

Daddy was off work today. We are so happy he was home to play with us in the snow!
We did not like the cold snow!! Where is the heater???

Bath Time...

The boys love their bath!! Anthony and I really try and keep the night time routine consistent, and we begin with a bath! This week our focus is on SLEEP. That is, attempting to get Johnathan to sleep through the night! Joseph does great at night. Keep us in your prayers...Joseph. Johnathan.

Having A Ball!

Our Mommy and Daddy gave us a ball pit!! It is so much fun! Our play room is really looking good now! It is filling up with all of our favorite things! Yeah! Johnathan contemplating his next move...

Eee Aww....

The boys are enjoying E-I-E-I-O........a donkey says "eee aww!" They interact so much with each other....sometimes it is a hug....sometimes it is a love bite!

Easter....

Aren't these beautiful!! I love them!! My sister-in-law ( who is absolutely the most creative Mom ) has a website where she sells really cool stuff! It is on Etsy- all things homemade. Check them out.... she is so tough to have in the family! ha! She even has a blog!!

These baskets are adorable...and she even personalizes with initials! You know that I put the boys inititials on theirs! Anthony says I would monogram their diapers if I could! ha!

I spy bags!! These are great! I bought the boys one each!! Even though they aren't ready for them yet-- they will be soon!

A good nights sleep....

Whew! Our Daddy has been so busy and tired too! Daddy will be on call 10 straight days at night PLUS he is working 11 hours each day! Dr Karen is at a conference. Oh, and we have had runny noses and we are both teething! So Grandma Holmes came and took us and Mommy to the farm for the night! Daddy had some good sleep while we were away!

Fresh Air...

Now Joseph has two teeth!! However along with his teeth he has his first diaper rash! Bless his heart! So we have been letting their sweet little bottoms have fresh air! This is their toy box discovery time! They are so cute sitting there and pulling toys out of the box!

It always seems like they want the toy brother has at the time! Even if there are two of the exact same toy-- they will try and play with their brother's toy!! These boys are so cute!

My Daddy...

....is the referee!! We went to the Upward basketball games at church and we watched Daddy! Since we have arrived Mommy and Daddy are not able to volunteer as much at church. But Daddy still enjoys the basketball ministry! We have fun there too!
Joseph loves to "handle" the ball, we think he will be the point guard!

The Park

Today the weather was gorgeous so our Mommy and Daddy took us to the park! This was our first experience at a park! We even ate our lunch at the park. However our favorite part was the swings! Johnathan was laid back in his swing.Joseph couldn't stop moving in his swing!

The boys are so blessed to have several "sweethearts!" Lacey, Lauren and Casey are very special high school girls that babysit our boys! ( other than Grandma Holmes and "Aunt" Tina!!) The boys adore these young ladies-- and I love them too!

Lacey is Joseph's girlfriend!! The boys share her affection while she is here! I am so thankful for her in our lives!Joseph has a crush....... Thanks girls~!~

Sunday afternoon stroll

Today was windy, but the boys still enjoyed the day! Joseph loves the cool wind when it blows in his face. On the way into church he just laughed, and laughed as the wind blew. During our walk he kept kicking his feet and smiling at the wind, it would take his breath and he loved it! Johnathan wasn't so sure about the cool wind!

A long Saturday

Wow-- we are so tired! This morning we all went to Spring City to visit Papa and Aunt Frances, then Mommy took Joseph to a Pampered Chef party and Dad and Johnathan went to a high school softball fundraiser! We will all sleep good tonight.

Johnathan, sleeping!! yeah! We have really been working on getting the boys to sleep better at night. The past few nights both boys were only up once to eat! Johnathan is an early riser at 5:00, and Joseph sleeps in until about 6:30!

The boys are learning to find their pacifiers by themselves during the night...this is a big help! Anthony and I have walked many miles back and forth to their room to give them a pacifier! Ugh!! ( we put many pacifiers in their beds to make it easier for them to find one at night!!! ha!)

Joseph is a good sleeper, but he likes to be on a pillow!

After voting the boys enjoyed a cool afternoon outside in the yard! We went for a walk, and then played on a blanket in the front yard!

Johnathan was amazed with the leaves blowing in the trees! Joseph loved playing with the leaves!
