While in Florida we stayed with Rachael, Ron and baby Colin! Jayne Elizabeth and Colin had a great time! Both of these babies are so laid back, and so happy!

Florida 5K!

The Panther Prowl. We completed our first family 5K!!!! I am so happy the first one is done, and now I know that the hard training has paid off! While in Florida for the wedding, we decided to run our first 5K this year with our friends Rachael and Ron!!! Rachael and I have come a long way from college roomates, to weddings, to babies and now running together! This couple made this so much fun! We stayed at their house, and loved all over sweet baby Colin! The morning of the race was great! About 300 runners and great weather!

Florida

We headed to Florida for a quick weekend trip to attend the wedding of Anthony's friends from veterinary school. The weather was gorgeous! It had this Florida girl missing "home." Grandma Gail came to Tennessee to stay with the boys.  Everyone had a great weekend!

Hollywood Pets

The last night of the AAHA convention in California was Hollywood Pets night! It was a fabulous party! The theme was carried through the evening. Jayne Elizabeth danced the night away with Daddy! We are concerned that she is a real party girl!

Back home

The boys have stayed home with Kendra and Lacey! These girls are part of their normal schedules, so they have done great! Basketball games, parks, crafts, and nature walks at Kendra's farm have kept them busy! I am so thankful for Kendra and Lacey. I miss our boys,  but have not worried about them! I am very appreciative of them allowing us this special mommy-daughter time in California!

Whew!

Anthony and I have been running back home. We have our first family 5k next weekend! Anthony will push the baby, while I just run! Anthony's goal is a half marathon this summer. My goal is to run a 5k while pushing the baby, and have Anthony beside me pushing the boys! We think fitness and nutrition are very important lifestyles to teach our children! I must say getting back into jogging after three babies in two years is tough, but it feels so good! It was neat to jog the 3.5 mile course on Los Angeles beach together! Thanks to Anthony for joining us after classes and on lunch breaks, also for slowing down his pace so we could stay together! Wish us luck next weekend in our first timed race together!

Anthony is very serious and focused at continuing education conferences. He is in lectures from 8-5. Jayne Elizabeth and I enjoy walking to parks, walking to shops, and swimming in the pool! We have played in each spot of green grass on Ocean Blvd.

When I told her to smell the flowers she just plopped down and leaned over to sniff!

She loves sleeping in our bed, and wants nothing to do with the hotel crib!

Why we love pharmacuetical dinners..

Many vendors and pharmaceutical companies invite the veterinarians at these conferences to dinners, parties etc. Well Anthony was invited to a nice dinner at the LA Aquarium with a night viewing of the aqaurium! Obviously, Kerry, myself, Anthony and the baby were excited to go! It was super nice, and Jayne Elizabeth loved the "fiss." Fish were everywhere and she kept saying "fiss, bubble,bubble!" She did super well especially since it was three hours after her bedtime!

Poolside

Jayne Elizabeth is pretty in pink at the poolside! She LOVES the water just like her twin brothers! She says "kick, kick,kick" when in the pool, as she is trying to push away from me and swim! Her favorite is trying to count to three while standing on the side of the pool then jumping (controlled fall ) into the pool! She is the entertainment at the pool for sure! Naptime always follows the pool, and that is when I post pictures on here!

This weather has made us so happy! The sunshine has us out and about!

California Girls!

Anthony has a veterinary conference in Los Angeles so Jayne Elizabeth and I came along too! Anthony and his practice manager are here to attend the conference while Jayne Elizabeth and I spend some quality time one on one together! I am super excited about the sunshine and time with this baby girl. Her rowdy brothers are back at home playing with Kendra and Lacey!
