Joseph is full of personality! He is so funny! Joseph loves to be on the move! He makes us laugh continuously. He makes the cutest faces, with a smirk that is priceless. His latest moment was when he put on one boot and his cap and marched around the house. Anthony told him to go get his other boot, and he did! He was so proud of himself wearing his boots and cap! He played in his self made attire until bedtime!

A shopping we will ALL go!
Ha, ha, ha, ha!!! This was so funny! We all went shopping, for about one hour! The comments and faces of the people at the mall was priceless, and encouraging! Here is the answer to all the questions about "how are you going to do it?" This is what it looks like for our family with three children under 18 months!

Christmas Night
We ended our Christmas day at my parents opening presents! Johnathan and Joseph experienced many packages in all shapes and sizes! Joseph was very excited about the wrapping paper AND what was inside! Joseph was all smiles and lots of fun! Johnathan was not so happy....he was a little overwhelmed with the festivities and decided the best place for him was in his Daddy's lap! Johnathan did join in when Joseph was getting the majority of the attention, but returned quickly to Daddy's lap. After a long day, the boys at our house slept well Christmas night. The girls were up every three hours to eat! Jayne Elizabeth is a growing and happy girl!

A Christmas at the farm
We headed down the valley Christmas afternoon to eat Christmas dinner and celebrate with my family. Grandpa and Grandma Holmes, Uncle Clay, Aunt Justina, Aunt Anne, Uncle Richard, Aunt Frances, and Papa were all there! The boys enjoyed all the attention!! When the boys arrive at the farm they have to stand on my parents front porch and call the cows! It is so funny! Joseph bellows like a bull and Johnathan screams "moo" and points out the cows that are in sight. Another favorite is the fisher price "tree house" on the front porch! Sometimes the tree house is moved inside the cabin for entertainment or incliment weather! Again, Jayne Elizabeth slept through the celebration!

Christmas morning
Home sweet home, on Christmas morning! I am so thankful for our family and our home. It was so much fun seeing the boys faces when they saw the gifts under their Christmas tree! They LOVED opening packages, and pulling apart the wrapping paper! Joseph was slow and precise with opening presents, and he would bring us the shreds of paper. Johnathan was more determined, and quick to open his packages! Jayne Elizabeth enjoyed a nap during the chaos! We are thankful for God's son, and the blessings HE has given us. Because of Him, Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve
Johnathan and Joseph enjoyed playing with their candy canes! However, soon the candy canes became bats, and were in many pieces! The fun was short lived, but entertaining! Notice their new "big boy" haircuts! No more curls! Jayne Elizabeth enjoyed sleeping through todays festivities. We are getting excited about Christmas morning! The boys will be so surprised to see their presents under the tree!

Twas the week before Christmas...
and not one baby was stirring in our house!! How many babies do you see in this picture?? Yes, we are all in our bed. We are all adjusting, and recovering slowly. Joseph is home, but still has a cold. Johnathan wants his Mommy to hold him, and doesnt understand post-surgical restrictions! But Jayne Elizabeth is precious! She is working hard at trying to organize her sleep patterns, and is so sweet! Anthony is off for Christmas, and I am so happy he will be home! We look forward to spending time together, all FIVE of us! yay!!

P.S. Anthony had to get out of bed to take this picture!! By 6:00 AM, everyone was asleep in our bed!

We check in with him regularly and at the last phone call Joseph was making cookies with Grandma Holmes....hmmmm. Meanwhile at our house Johnathan is loving all the attention from Grandpa Tim, Grandma Nadine, and his Uncles. Jayne continues to sleep during the day, and bright eyed at night!

Sweet Baby Faces
Jayne Elizabeth is precious!! She is a sleeper!! woo-hoo!!! She is so calm, and so sweet. She is doing great breastfeeding, as long as she is awake! Her brothers will be back home tomorrow after recovering from a virus. We are all enjoying having a sweet little girl around, she is so different from her brothers. It is so neat to be able to see three different personalities at such a young age. God is good. I am looking forward to having all of my babies at home, despite the chaos and post-surgery restrictions. Enjoy the pictures of Jayne ELizabeth, our computer is being repaired so the posts will not be as timely through the holidays!

Sharing....
Joseph and Johnathan really do not pay much attention to Jayne Elizabeth! Mostly they stand in front of her and wave!! However Joseph is more of a little helper. He brings his sister her pacifier if he finds it, and brings his toys to her and sits them beside her! He even shared his favorite rooster flashlight with his sister! Joseph is very interested in the breast feeding, and usually comes into the nursery to watch her from a distance. Neither of the boys will give her a kiss, or hug! Unfortuneatley both boys came down with fevers and colds this week. It was strongly advised to keep them away from the newborn. ugh!! The boys are so healthy, and this was not a good week to be sick!! So, Grandma and Grandpa Holmes came and took them back to the farm for 48 hours while the virus ran its course. A big thank-you to all who have helped our family while myself and Jayne ELizabeth recover from c-section, and the complications found during surgery. We are all doing better each day. It is just a long recovery....but what a beautiful blessing this little girl has been!
