Pink Alert!

This baby is adorable! She has so much personality! Jayne Elizabeth LOVES to watch her brothers! Today Mom and I were playing with the boys in the living room with a soccer ball, and Jayne Elizabeth belly laughed everytime she saw it roll across the floor! She is rolling over both directions, and very interested in her feet this week! I think she is precious.

Please move to Crossville Aunt Kim!

This past week I worked at the hospital Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, and Sun! That is alot compared to my normal two days a week, 8-4. The problem is that Anthony was also scheduled to work the weekend! "Aunt" Kim came from Nashville and stayed the weekend so she could help with the kids while I worked, and when Anthony was on-call! Aunt Kim managed to keep all three babies, do crafts, oragnize closests, clean the playroom ( multiple times ), and spend time with Mommy and Daddy! Thank you so much "Aunt" Kim!

Also, thankyou Grandma Holmes and Aunt Tina for helping during the week so I could work!

Wow, Lacey!

Lacey came over to see us before going to the prom! She is beautiful, but the boys were being shy taking pictures. I think they may prefer her softball uniform! Jayne Elizabeth really wanted to get her hands on Lacey's corsage! Joseph changed his shoes and put on his best boots for Lacey's prom pictures!

A kiss for Lacey.....

An update

Great-Grandparents! Anthony's grandparents stopped by to see us on the way back to Ohio from Florida! I think the boys kept them entertained during their visit! The kids are so blessed to have six great-grandparents to love them! We all enjoyed seeing Grandma and Papaw Vaughn, but I couldnt get the boys to sit still for a good picture! Here is our attempt:

Just words.

Write this down. No pictures in this post! But--- exciting milestones! Jayne Elizabeth is rolling everywhere! She is beginning to interact and exchange laughter with her brothers, this is so cute! Also, we are beginning to introduce the potty to the twins. When anyone goes potty at our house, we all cheer! The boys think sitting on the potty is funny, and we may put them on the potty once or twice a day. AND Johnathan peed in the potty this weekend, and Joseph dribbled in the potty tonight!! In may just be coincidence, or luck, but we are so proud! You would think there is a gold medal involved when we see a dribble! The boys think our joy in the potty is funny! We will see where it goes from here, we are in no rush to "potty train." First, we plan to have a pacifier party, or not so party, party. That is when we take their pacifiers away for good. We are procastinating. Any ideas?? Leave us a comment! I love feedback on our blog! Oh, did I tell you how cute the boys are sitting on the potty?!! Adorable, I will manage a picture with modesty of them sitting on the potty!

Is that my Mommy?!

Yes, it is me! This is the first picture of me with short hair! Originally I cut my hair for ease, and to have a simple, low time requiring hair style. However I didnt even make it four hours without putting it in a pony tail! I guess that is just me, a mommy with a pony tail, and not much time to style hair!

Neigh, Neigh!

At the farm we must count cows, visit the horses, and ride on the 4-wheeler. The boys will not rest until they have surveyed the farm life. Grandpa Holmes takes them to pet Eli, the horse. However Uncle Clay arranged a special treat for the boys. They were able to ride on his friend's horse and buggy on the farm! But I confess, I was a nervous wreck! I haven't had that feeling before. The boys had fun, and I survived. These boys are making their Mommy tough!

Cooking with Sarah

Sarah came over today to make cookies with us! However, Sarah makes real cookies! Not the kind that you slice and serve! It was educational for the boys, and me! Sarah is an excellent baked goods decorator. I knew we were in for a treat when she showed up at our door with a large box of cooking and decorating supplies! It was great fun, and the cookies are delicious and gorgeous!
