Lacey's graduation!

Lacey graduated from high school, and we were there to celebrate too! We are very proud of her accomplishments! She has been a big part of our family the last three years, and now she will be heading away to college this fall! ( we are taking applications for babysitters now! ha! )

I love my in-laws!

I am so thankful that I have great in-laws!!! Anthony has a large family, and I am so thankful that I get along so well with all of them! We have had such a nice visit with Grandpa Tim, Grandma Nadine (Nana), and Uncle Craig this week! It makes my heart smile to see the love and interaction of our families with our kids. I wish my in-laws lived closer. We keep reminding them that our town is a top retirement area! Nana is a preschool teacher and I just cant get enough of her advice and crafts! Grandpa Tim is also a pilot and the boys really are interested in that now! Uncle Craig is loads of fun, and Jayne Elizabeth was pretty fond of him during the visit!

Hey chick!

Granna and Papa have given us a special gift, actually 13 gifts!! In preparation for the twins third birthday "Barnyard Bash" at the farm Papa bought us 13 chicks for the petting zoo portion of the party. Yes, my parents live in a gorgeous farm, but these chicks have entered the city life of our living room at our house! The night they came home with us we were at Tractor Supply buying "brooding lamps" and our chick houses! Jayne Elizabeth squeals at the sight of the chicks and attempts to pick them up by whatever part she can grab quick enough!! Johnathan LOVES the chicks. He talks to them from the upstairs balcony, and even was concerned that he missed "hugging" one of them before bed! Joseph is interested but not attached. The chick houses have graduated from a cardboard box, to a plastic box, and now live in our garage in a cage. The plan is for them to "move" to the farm next week for the party. Again, never say never!!!!!!

Never say never!

I would never let my kids play in a mud puddle! Much less play in a mud puddle with no clothes on!

I love being a Mommy and making the rules! This is from all the Tennessee rain!

Uncle, Uncle, Uncle, Grandma, Grandpa

Anthony's brothers Uncle Craig, Uncle Ross, and Uncle Kent have been here several days! Our kids have loved it!! Grandma Nadine and Grandpa Tim came last night to pick up the Uncles and head north for a wedding. However, the GI stomach bug that hit our house the beginning of the week attacked Uncle Craig and Uncle Ross last night! Apparently we were still contagious when our Uncles arrived! So our Uncles and grandparents are still here recovering!
Jayne Elizabeth and the boys referred to "uncles" often....

The boys learned to play baseball and run bases the right direction!

Uncle Kent starting the boys on their engineering career!
Uncle Craig introducing college "literature" to the boys!
The boys kept saying "two Uncles sick on couch!"
Joseph was continuously concerend about the "bees" on the couch, we learned it was "germs!" ha!

Happy Mother's Day!

A wonderful Mother's Day is to dedicate a child to the Lord! Anthony and I have prayed for these children to come to know Jesus at an early age a long time ago! We look forward to the day that they choose to make our Jesus the savior of their life! Today at church during the service we committed to raise Jayne Elizabeth in a home centered around Jesus Christ. Our church body is in agreement to pray and support our family as we raise our children. It is a humbling experience to present yourself and family to the Lord in front of a congregation of believers. Thank you Jesus for giving us the opportunity to raise your children.

Our good friend Sarah sang a gorgeous song during the service!

This and that

When have been super busy with life!! A great life, but so busy lately! I am trying to slow down and enjoy the special moments in our days. This seems simple but it is so hard with the "immediate" needs of the day!
