This cowboy's hat
If there was ever any question, it is now official that I have two, and maybe three cowpokes on my hands! Today the boys bought their first real cowboy hats! However, new boots accompanied the purchase because they have grown out of their first pair! If the smiles do not boast how proud these boys are of their hats, I do not know what ever will! An attitude came along with the purchase of these hats! ( and also a pair of cute pink boots too! ha! ) Of course, Johnathan and Joseph had to immediately go to the farm to show Papa their new hats and boots! Papa did have "the talk" with the boys.....Papa said " Boys, if you talk about your hat, it is "your hat." It is assumed that it is your "cowboy" hat. There is no need to state that it is a cowboy hat. Any other baseball hat is a "cap." In case there would be any confusion to the twins regarding "their hat", I am glad Papa cleared it up! Ha!

Happy Fall You All!
We had the best family fall day, despite the yucky weather and rain! Anthony is oncall, but did not have to go into the clinic this afternoon! This is great because we loaded up the kids, Granna and Papa and headed out to find a pumpkin! Hill's Fresh Market & Specialties was a great place to go! We had so much fun watching the boys go from pumpkin to pumpkin, and choosing the one they thought was best! We also purchased our mums and fresh produce for the week! These boys were so proud of what they picked out, paid for, and then brought home! Fun times, and wonderful memories. God is so good, and I am so thankful.

Making sure their pumpkins were put in the car! So cute!

At home, it's hard work decorating the front porch....

The final touch, the babies!

The Home Team
Anthony and I could not leave on trips if it wasnt for our "Home Team." We have so many friends and family that love our kids, and we are so THANKFUL for each of them! When we are out of town, the boys have so much fun! This weekend was extra-special because Anthony's parents came from Alabama, and Aunt Anne came from South Carolina to help with the twins while we were in California! So a big thanks to our Home Team this past week: Grandpa Tim, Grandma Nadine, Aunt Anne, Granna, Papa, Uncle Clay, Aunt Justina, and Kendra! The boys loved the fun crafts with Grandma Nadine and were proud to show us when we came home! Also, the farm is always fun, especially with Aunt Anne to add special attention to their every move! We are so THANKFUL that these kids are surrounded by love, and we couldnt be the parents we are without the support from all of our friends and family.

Daddy's favorite girls!
Jayne Elizabeth and I eagerly await 6 PM when Anthony gets out of his class! We went on a special trip down to the beach, and had a delicious dinner at sunset. We had reservations, and dined on the patio where the tide met us, and the breeze was to our backs! It was a special time for Daddy and his favorite girls!

P.S. Please dont worry about the twins, at one point this morning there were five adults at home meeting their every desire! ( two sets of grandparents were there! )We will all be spoiled when we get home!

Torrey Pines
Jayne Elizabeth and I went on our first hike! It began as a morning walk, but it kept going!! Miles later we realized the beauty of San Diego beaches and coast. We hiked the "Torrey Pines State Park", and it was worth every glisten of sweat on our faces! Also of note, is the calf cramps that I experienced while pushing her two hours up and down and all around these trails! Whew- this mama will do it all for her 9 month old to see the sights! ha! Honestly, it was amazing! The weather was gorgeous and we had an amazing time! Tomorrow or maybe this weekend, depending on my ability to walk, we will go down the cliff to the shoreline!

Golf tournament??
We are here for a veterinary conference, but the other 10 million people are here for the LPGA World Championships! Yes, the media trucks, the golf bags, and the San Diego police are all here for the golf tournament! We just may be the only ones who did not know that 20 of the top lady golfers would be joining us on our trip! Every decoration that can be imagined that involves roses, golf clubs, or a this banner "Samsung World Championship" is visible within our view here at Torrey Pines! Thank goodness we could escape with hike to the state park, those pictures tomorrow! For now, enjoy Jayne Elizabeth's debut to the golf industry! Aunt Tina and Uncle Dale: Jayne Elizabeth has picked out a few pink golf bags and clubs on a few of these young ladies that she would like to tell you about!
