Sweet Home Alabama

Sweet Jayne Elizabeth and Mommy spent the weekend eating, shopping, and relaxing in Mobile with "Aunt Ta-Ta and Uncle Patrick." We did plenty of the above. Their home is so nice, and quiet! Jayne Elizabeth loved the attention, and even slept in for Mommy to enjoy the rest! Tanya took us to this fabulous diner on Dauphin Street, Spot of Tea. The food was unbelievable! We had Eggs Cathedral! It was made of a
grilled English muffin topped with crab cake, scrambled eggs and a homemade seafood sauce, made with blackened Mexican grouper and crawfish. All of this served with hash brown potatoes!!!! Yummy!!! It was a great weekend, with great friends! Thanks Tanya and Patrick, and Happy 1st Anniversary!

Even though Mommy LOVES her FLorida Gators, we do support the LSU Tigers for Uncle Patrick and Aunt Ta-ta.....

We even snuck in a quick visit at Grandpa Tim's house....

A weekend away..

This weekend I am in Mobile, AL visiting friends. I was in need of a weekend away...but I have Jayne Elizabeth with me of course! We spent the night on the way down in Huntsville, AL with friends from PT school, Leah and Chris. Jayne Elizabeth found an Auburn boy, their precious baby, Jacob! Leah and I had a great visit discussing all things baby, and Mommy! She is so sweet and I enjoyed the girl talk! We are still in Mobile, pictures to come when we get home!

Corn, sweet corn!

The boys love Grandma and Grandpa Holmes' garden!! Corn is a new favorite at our house. Sometimes the corn doesnt make it inside to cook before the boys taste it! Most always it looks like someone has nibbled into the cob before it makes it to the pot! The boys love to pick the fruits and vegatables and put them in their bag! It is really cute. I think they know their Mommy prefers organic!

Silly boys..

It is time to play at our house!! The boys really enjoy RUNNING around pretending they are different animals. ( with their boots of course! ) The only difference in the animals they act out is the sounds. Running, making animal sounds. The boys insist on making two different animal sounds! However when they found these hats, they didnt know what sounds a moose or penguin make! So they just ran around with the hats on, saying "moo!" It works for me! Johnathan also thought that Jayne Elizabeth needed to be the bunny rabbit. Bless her heart, she tolerates these boys with a smile on her face!

Great-grandparents

It is so nice that both sets of Anthony's grandparents live in the same town in Ohio! So while we were at the family reunion we were able to go over and visit with his Dad's parents too! The kids were able to see both sets of great-grandparents over the weekend! We really like the picture of Johnathan with his namesake, John Warlick. And Jayne Elizabeth enjoyed Grandmother giving her attention too!

Family Reunion

This weekend we traveled 13 hours in two days with all three kids! We went to Ohio to meet up with Anthony's Mom, and her family! It was awesome being surrounded by that many people who were all family! Our kids were able to see all of their cousins on her side! It was entertaining to see all the kids interact, and adults too! We played games outside, and had yummy food! We really enjoyed seeing everyone. The kids were exhausted at the end of Saturday! My family is small, and it is so nice to be reminded that we are a part of a bigger family, even though they live up North! **wink**smile**

Our trio

Summer time with the trio....they are so cute, yet so busy! It has been increasingly difficult now that the twins are in the "twos" and Jayne Elizabeth is requiring solid foods and beginning to show her independance. My hearts desire is to show them Jesus, and raise obedient children. This seems so simple, but I have learned that this is the hardest job in the world, and the most important. Please join our home in prayer for peace and joy during these phases of change at our house. God is good, and has blessed us beyond anything we could have imagined. Enjoy the pictures! These kids are cute, and I am still trying for a good photo of the three together!
