Dogs...dogs...dogs!

We went over to Dr.Karen's house tonight, and the boys enjoyed her dogs Riley and Hank. Dr. Karen is the wonderful veterinarian who works with Anthony. Joseph was so excited to be around Riley!! Joseph would use his sign language "more" and point to the dogs!! Riley is triple their size, and she gives the best dog kisses! It was funny to watch the boys interact with Riley and Hank! We will have to have a playdate again soon!

Apple Festival

Today we all went to the Apple Festival!!! It was so much fun! We saw so many things, and even experienced new things too! We loved to taste fried apple pies ( our Mommy's favorite!), apple dumplings, and apple cider! The apples are really good! Then we watched our first puppet show, those puppets are great! One of Mommy and Daddy's favorite moments was watching Grandpa Holmes climb up the tall slide, then crouch down at the top, and slide down with us!!! Everyone thought that was a good time! It was a fun time, and the fall weather is gorgeous!

It's a Fall Friday!!

The weather outside feels like fall!! I am so happy! The boys enjoyed the day!! We went to the vet clinic, back home to play in the yard, and then Lacey took us to a volleyball game! Whew....we are all hoping for a good nights sleep! ha!

I jokingly call her "my Beth Moore!" Lori and I traveled to Africa together on our first overseas mission trip...and we have so many great memories from that experience! Dogs...

On Saturday Lacey and Caroline took the boys swimming, and to meet Lacey's dogs! Joseph loves dogs, and squeals with excitement when he is around a dog. Joseph wants to hug and love all over dogs! Johnathan enjoys dogs, but isnt as enthusiastic as Joseph. Sometimes, I feel bad for the dogs. The boys can really be determined to "love" all over the dogs. Sometimes their petting resembles a near beating.....but hugs are usually to follow the assault. It is so funny to watch them interact with pets....every child needs one!

FLORIDA football!!!!

Anthony and I had a great time at the UT vs UF game!! Dale and Tina were so generous with the parking and seats for the game!! We had such a good time....it was the perfect day of relaxation, but excitement! Dale, Tina, Sarah, Dave, Matt, Alicia, Anthony and myself all enjoyed the tailgating! Although I think Anthony and I enjoyed the game the most!! It is great to be a Florida Gator!

Oh- the SEC!

It is Game Day at our house!!! In honor of Anthony's alliance to Auburn, the boys were dressed in their AU attire first thing this morning! Anthony was born in Opeleika, AL, his Grandad, Dad, and now his brother all attended Auburn! However, I think the boys are confused, beacause they LOVE the Florida Gators! Especially since I was born and raised in FLorida, AND graduated from the University of Florida in 2001!! Today Anthony and I will be going to the FLorida vs Tennessee game in Knoxville. Go Gators!

A Friday Morning

Happy Friday!! Our mornings usually begin around 6:00 AM, with a baby waking up and ready for the day! Daddy usually goes upstairs to get the awake baby, then comes downstairs where we enjoy a sippy cup of milk! Not long after this, Daddy leaves for work, then Mommy goes upstairs to get awake baby#2, and brings them downstairs to begin the day with milk! After this, our routine is determined by the boys! Books, games, playroom, or Mommy's lap- this all depends on the mood of the boys! The boys always enjoy their sippy cup of milk, and a book is usually quick to follow! A hair cut with Daddy

We went to the "boys" barber shop! This is where Daddy gets his hair cut! It was much different then the salon where Mommy goes! Howvever we think Daddy enjoyed getting our hair cut....the barber said we were "just dandy!" My three men.....

A wild hair....

Wow! Joseph has wild, curly blonde hair!! It is so cute! This is his morning bed head before we get the hair tamed, and in cute curls!! Johnathan has curl in his hair, but not like Joseph! I think his hair matches his personality!

Fireproof the movie

We have heard great things about this movie through our church, and now it is popping up on blogs! Fireproof was made by the same group that created Facing the Giants, and we love that movie! If your married, please set a date night with your spouse to see this movie, it comes out in theatres September 26! If you are single, grab a few friends and head to the show!!

The Lake

Over the weekend we loaded up the kids and dog and headed to our families, my grandpa's, lake house. We met Grandpa and Grandma Holmes, Uncle Clay and Aunt Justina, and other friends there! The lake house is only about 45 minutes away from our house. This was Johnathan and Joseph's first lake water experience... we have swam at the beach, pool, and now the lake! The boys love the water!

Mommy's boys...

Oh how I love these boys! As a twin Mommy there isn't many opportunities to hold both babies at once. This is something my heart longs for......to hold them both close at the same time. It is the best feeling ever!! Anthony captured one of these special moments tonight after dinner....

Yearbook ads!

Daddy's vet clinic is going to have an ad in the SMHS yearbook! Our girlfriend Lacey is on the yearbook staff, and we had our picture made with her for the ad! She is a junior this year, and we all love her bunches! It was fun taking pictures, and we had several pictures that Mommy thought was worthy of publishing! ha!

Jennifer and Jasper

Over the weekend I went to our friends Jennifer and Jasper's wedding in Nashville! It was an amazingly spiritual ceremony and gorgeous reception! It was so nice to see them, and visit with friends. The food was delicious, and the groom's cake was more chocolate than even a pregnant girl could dream of! It was a fabulous occasion, and we wish them the very best in their new lives together!
