After watching the boys have their pancake party at school with a formal breakfast, I decided I wanted that to be incorporated into our family holiday too!We have decided to start a family tradition on Christmas morning. After the excitement and awe of "Santa" is over and the presents are opened we decided that we will have a formal breakfast in our dining room each year. It is a time to calm down, and reflect on the reason we have Christmas, and that is the birth of Jesus Christ. Anthony and I took our fine china and Waterford crystal from out of the hutch, and made a festive kid friendly breakfast for our family to enjoy! The kids loved the food, and we loved the crystal and china! It was neat to discuss our wedding gifts and "crystal and china" with the kids! A very special breakfast, discussing a very important person, Jesus Christ. We look forward to this each year, and look forward to breakfast casseroles, homemade biscuits, and discussion about our Lord and Savior, because without HIM Christmas would not mean a thing.
