Super Briggs is FOUR.

Calling all super friends! It's Briggs' 4th Birthday! Come get caught up in a web of fun! Today we celebrated a very special little boy!  These boys may be growing up into "big boys" with super powers but they still melt us with their hugs and smiles! Dana did an amazing job balancing the "big boy" theme for our little guys! It truly was an amazing day!
 LET'S CELEBRATE BRIGGS!!

The skyline and city scape was perfect for our little super heros!

The CAKE! Awesome. Joseph loved the clock on the cake, and precious Ms Dana brought that to him with his piece of cake! One very happy little boy.

When Dana was discussing his birthday cake with Briggs she referred to it as "cute." Briggs quickly stated "no, mom. It is cool!!" Love him!

A few of our super boys and super girls!
This super girl is super cute!!!!! Dana made the tutu!!! Jayne Elizabeth immediately smiled big, and transformed into "super hero princess!" She is too much!

Each child decorated their own cape, with initials and stars!
Oh, here is Super Dad!!!! Introducing the obstacle course to conquer!

These good guys are super fast!

 Archie, the super dog!!!
Gosh, I love this game face! Go, Briggs!
Look at these smiles! This is what makes my heart full!

Kindergarten is exhausting

Since the start of school we have established new bedtime rules. Up until kindergarten we have "tolerated" ( and I confess, that I enjoyed ) musical beds at our house. Our trio goes to bed well, but then the sleep intruders happen. Somehow there was always a little snuggling, cosleeping, or whatever you name it. But with the start of school we explained the importance of healthy sleep habits ( and my desire to get up reallllllly  early and exercise, and not want to wake the person/kid attached to me).  So the deal is on the weekends we can stay up past bedtime play board games, read favorite books, share popcorn, AND snuggle!!!!! This is our first school Friday night. The three Js started off together in Joseph's bed. But after the musical bed routine, all three ended up in our guest bedroom. The twins nestled on the floor together with piles of blankets and pillows, and our baby girl in the bed! LOL! I want to savor this moments. It's been a great week! I cant wait to spend the weekend with these kids, I've missed them!

Kindergarten!!!

Good Morning! As I type this my sweet little ones are still in bed sleeping. The boys are going to their first full day of Kindergarten. I am humbled, many prayers have been answered. Prayers from the birth of preemie twins with birth defects, all the way to the prayers of the teacher and school. God cares about every detail. I am so thankful that Johnathan and Joseph are excited to go to school!!
Yesterday was the introduction day at Crossville Christian School. It was a busy week, night, and morning preparing all the supplies, clothes, and snacks for three little ones. Anthony has had a six day oncall/work schedule, so this too has made Mommy stress. But, I am so happy to say despite several unplanned obstacles the day went great!!! Only a few tears from this Mommy as I prayed early in the morning, no tears at school from anyone!
The breakfast surprise table!
As they each woke up I sang to them "good morning its your first day of school", and led them to the table to see their new wipe-off boards with a message!

Don't forget the teachers, they have already earned a treat if you ask me!
Twas the night before school, all clothes are pressed and hanging, only one kid stirring........
Johnathan apparently needed his baseball trophy and post cards from grandparents to sleep with him...
Jayne Elizabeth needed ALL of her babies and stuffed animals to sleep in her bed........

And then here is sweet Joseph, apparently still happy and awake at 10:00 pm!

But Mommy is right, Joseph was very tired at breakfast the next morning  :-(
Johnathan was so excited about school he woke-up ready to call his friends and family and tell them all about it. Too bad the time zones woke several people up!!

Wow, look at these two Kindergarten boys!
I think they are happy?!? lol.
I had each of them write their own name on their new boards, then I did the rest!

Now, here she is!!! Our sweet baby girl!!!! K-4, is that possible already?

 Makes a Mommy's heart melt.....

At school, in Ms Aprel's class!! We are looking forward to a great year!!

The boys Kindergarten class includes their friend Titus! Ms Tracey has an amazing class too!
