Oh, Cousin!
We were super excited to find out that our Indiana cousins Whit and Sam were coming to Tennessee with Grandma Gail for the twins birthday weekend! We are so happy to share our birthday with these special cousins! It is a VERY busy house with 5 children under 5 years old, and four of those are boys! Bless Jayne Elizabeth! Anthony is on-call this weekend, but he has managed to spend some excellent quality time with all the kids! Grandma Gail knows all allergies and all schedules, she spends lots of time with Whit and Sam in Inidana! I love family.
Bark in the Park, the veterinarian's family must take their cousins to this sponsored event!
Yes, a cute picture at Bark in the Park with all five kids!
Jayne Elizabeth adores Sam!! She follows him everywhere, and has his name on repeat!
Grandma Gail, you are so good!
A little icee for hot little kids, a much needed break for Grandma and Aunt Elizabeth :)
Grandma Gail is also making the birthday cakes! These little boys love to taste!
Sam and Whit have taught these boys several things, the best is how to "pump" your legs and swing!
Awe, Grandma Gail and our girl!! We miss cousin Etta!!!! Next time it is a girls trip with Etta!
My FAVORITE picture, does it get any cuter?!?! Jayne Elizabeth and Sam.
Whit and Joseph played lots of soccer, there is lots of toughness here~
Wow, Uncle took on a mighty task! Teaching football to the boys! Plays, teams, and PATIENCE :)
Joseph and Whit, now a football team!
Awe, sweet story time. Each one picked out a book, and we read them all before bed....
Thank you Aunt Jaime, Uncle Rusty and Etta for sharing your boys with us!

Just us, our family!
It is nice to have pictures of daily life. There are not many times we have an "outsider" available to capture these moments. Sometimes in the middle of little things I think, I just want to remember this. Little diaper bottoms, cute feet, the sound of "mommy", the talk between the kids, the imaginary friends. I adore our family, I want Jesus to receive all the glory for arranging this perfectly imperfect family. Our family does not look what I could of imagined in my wildest dream! Anthony and I discussed 3-4 children, 2-3 years apart! Wow!!!! We were BLESSED with three children in less than 18 months!! So many days it feels like a constant struggle to be loving, patient, kind, and productive with three little ones, and a hubby that has the responsibility beyond imagination on his hands! But, I know that Jesus has the perfect plan already established! As time goes by I see glimpses of that plan, and it humbles me to tears to know that he chose us, to be together until He calls us home.
Teaching hopscotch to our little guys!
This is a snap shot each evening!! Daddy getting home from work, three little ones playing outside! This is what my memory will see forever of this age.....I think we have a stair step order of children here~Daddy took off his scrubs, it is time for races! I think Mommy jumps highest!
Yes, I will play with you sweet baby girl!
Wrestle and pillows with Daddy before bed!
Jayne Elizabeth enjoys MY makeup!! After she gently applied my mascara ( to her face ) she made her debut for her brothers. Johnathan said "what on your face sister?? It looks like camoflauge.." So sweet and sincere, but it wasnt appreciated by his sister.....ha, ha!
Our precious little girl loves her food, and loves to wear it too!!! Here is her peanut butter facial! What can I say, she is just like her mama! I see chocolate pedicures in our future!
Thank you Jesus for this perfectly imperfect family. Thank you for friends and family that help us on this journey. Let them see you, through me.

Here comes the bride!
Our sweet nanny who helped us earlier this year with the kids got married over the weekend! Diana and Jason's wedding was stunning. Every detail was covered, and the beauty was beyond the imagination! The ceremony was personalized with poetry and songs for the couple written by friends! The ceremony was at an outdoor venue, Camp Nakanawa. Diana attended camp there over many summers, and is now a counselor there too! The location and flowers were breathtaking. We are so happy for the newlyweds, Mr and Mrs Phillips! Anthony and I learned alot from the wedding, Mrs. Diana has set the expectations higher for Jayne Elizabeth to attend camp, and to also have wedding like this would be our dream!
The coat hangers for the bride and her bridesmaids were personalized with their names bent in the wire..adorable!
Diana has the cutest personality, and was a fun bride!
The sanctuary for the ceremony, floral bliss!
Gorgeous Bridal Party!
Our dear neighbor Mrs. Becky with sister-of-the bride Rebecca. Their families have grown up together!
Mr. and Mrs. Phillips!!The reception at Camp Nakanawa!
A soft, elegant, and pink outdoor reception combined with a little rustic charm! Simply perfect! The wreaths were a favorite of mine, each floral centerpiece was unique too.
Oh my, the tower of Gigi's cupcake!!
First dance, in the bistro area!Congratualtions Diana and Jason!
I think we will start planning Jayne Elizabeth's wedding on the farm now, we have 20 or so years to get it together! :)

Serve A Thon
We have decided that it is time for our children to start school next year! The kids will attend Crossville Christian School two days a week, we plan to supplement the other days with a home education system that is similar to the classical christian education. Knowing that Crossville Christian School is where they will attend, we began to get involved with the school this year. Our first commitment with the school was the first annual fundraiser as a Serv A Thon. Anthony and I love the concept of serving the community as a fundraiser. This was an excellent teaching opportunity in itself. We sent out support letters and had Johnathan and Joseph sign or trace their name on each one. Then we discussed what it mean to sever others, and volunteer in the community. The event that was chosen to volunteer was a trail race!!!! It was a perfect fit for our family!! Uncle Kent and Uncle Ross were still in town from Auburn and went with us to the event. Our family signed up for the early shift! We arrived at the race at 7:30 AM. The Cumberland State Park, park ranger Mark sent us in the "red" trail head to the split where we would meet park ranger J.R. Our family cheered and encouraged all the runners. We picked up trash, and then hiked back out to where our fellow students were toward the finish line. We enjoyed a family picnic at the park to celebrate a successful Serv A Thon!
Uncle Kent, Johnathan and Jayne Elizabeth hiking to our position!
Johnathan couldnt resist "running" a little too!Uncle Kent and Jayne Elizabeth with the support signs we made, and clappers for noise!
Park Ranger J.R. was great with the kids while we were serving!
The split where we helped direct the runners!
Awe, my babies in Crossville Christian School t-shirts!
Words of praise and encouragement for the runners!
We joined fellow school mates toward the finish line to cheer the runners on!
These sweet girls will be in Johnathan and Joseph's class next year! We are so excited!
What would a party be without Briggs, Joesph, Brody, Jayne Elizabeth and Johnathan?!?!
A little running of their own to burn the energy this group has stored up!
Please join us in praise and prayer for the kids and Crossville Christian School next year!
