the Christmas parade-brrrrr.

We called a few friends and met at the parade route! However despite our hot chocolate and cookies it was still FREEZING! We backed our cars up to the actual street and opened the back so the kids would have shelter!! Seriously,  the winter storm advisory and subsequent snow fell that night! The kids were so interested and tuned into the parade happenings despite the weather! It must be the Christmas spirit that kept them warm!.......the things we do for our kids............
Snuggled down to watch the parade!

It's her birthday!

Jayne Elizabeth is two years old today!! We celebrated with a pancake and pajama party!!! We had lots of friends, food, and fun!! Everyone enjoyed the morning of fun in their pajamas!!  The kids were encouraged to jump on multiple beds placed around for them to play on! The pancake buffet was complete with blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, M&Ms, chocolate chips, and whip cream!! Syrup flavors, sausage and bacon topped it off! The kids enjoyed pillowcase races, and then decorating their own pillowcases! Jayne Elizabeth beamed with excitement for her day!!! She was so excited to have all her "friends" at her house! She would review the invite list for weeks with all smiles! She truly did have a blast at her party! It was so cute watching HER be the center of attention at our house! I am so proud of this little girl, and so thankful that two years ago today I was given this baby. Jayne Elizabeth we are so thankful for you. You make our family complete! Happy Birthday baby girl! We love you!

Grandma Gail

While Grandma Gail was here celebrating Jayne Elizabeth's birthday we attempted a photo before church. We did get one with everyone's eyes open, so I should be thankful! The kids so enjoy visits with Grandma Gail, and Jayne Elizabeth would ask "where Grandma Gail at" for days after she left. The twins want to go to "her house" to play in all the snow! I wish we all lived closer.....
