My boys!

I love twins! The boys bedtime is hysterical! I am glad that we can still laugh through our sleepless nights! Yes, we still sleep upstairs in our guest room so that we "available" for the kids! Jayne Elizabeth is in a crib so she doesnt have the option to come to our bed. Johnathan and Joseph take advantage of our availability nightly!! They still talk non-stop, and we still listen on the baby monitors. Last night we heard Joseph state "hurry brudder get back in bed, I hear Daddy coming!" We can hear them say "wait brudder, it is my turn to talk!" Some nights their only request is to sleep together. Most nights we discourage the chaos but a few nights the boys have slept through the night together in the same bed. If anyone needs advice on what not to do to get your kids to sleep in their own bed, Anthony and I are available for consults! We will not even get into the bedwetting issues of  twin boys who end up in OUR bed! ha! Remember that Anthony and I laugh through these nights!

Night time check reveals a empty bed, hmmmm.
They moved all their "things" into Johnathan's bed. Perfectly placed two of everything in the same bed! Good job boys!

Love these sleepy smiles!!

The World Race

We are all called to different paths, and different walks. Right now, for a year, God has called my lifelong friend Ginger to the World Race. The World Race is an 11 month, 11 country mission to be the hands and feet of Christ. Ginger is an award winning writer and photographer. In order to finance this mission Ginger has published desktop calendars and books "Post card Prayers"  with the proceeds assisting the World Race. The photgraphy and scriptures are breathtaking. The content is from her previous trips. I humbly ask you to consider helping. We covet your prayers for Ginger. Throughout this year you will be able to follow Ginger and her team as she snaps photos and videos through the World Race blog! Neat, huh?!? Anthony and I hosted a book signing and  luncheon in our town to introduce Ginger to our friends! The response was amazing! Now, our request. Anthony and I have agreed to partner with Ginger in this endeavor, we have 150 books/calendars to sell! We are praying that 15 of our friends will be willing to each sell 10 books and/or calendars to help Ginger reach her goal! This blog reaches so many different people in different locations! I can assure you that YOU will receive the blessing by these books! The photography is breathtaking!

Cost: Desktop Calendar $6, Book $15, OR package for both $20!!

Grandma Gail and Aunt Kaydi

Anthony's mom and sister have spent the weekend here with us! We haven't seen Aunt Kaydi in forever so it was nice to spend time with her! Aunt Kaydi has garden and brought zucchini and squash to our house. Grandma Gail was quick to make homemade zucchini bread!!
Aunt Kaydi and Jayne Elizabeth adding the eggs
We spend much of our time outside playing, Daddy had the weekend off!!!
Brothers, I adore Joseph's smile!
Good labor is hard to find!
Joseph had Aunt Kaydi help him put on Mommy's socks so he could run faster!

To make you smile

These are pictures that Lacey has taken of the kids. Last week the boys were super excited and said "my seep in Yaycee bed!!" Johnathan and Joseph do super well napping away from home. Jayne Elizabeth does not do so well!

Oh boys!

Johnathan and Joseph are all things boy. No doubt about it. Any string will be made into a "cow rope." Their imagination is hysterical! On this day when I entered the play room I discovered Jayne Elizabeth's pink pony that she named "Princess" tied with a "cow rope!" The boys found their craft string and unrolled it around the entire table, anchoring chairs, toys and Princess together! You could hear them say "hold on brudder!!"  "whoooah Princess" "she is a bucking bronco!" My favorite quote was "this horse is wild!"

Princess, hold on!!

A day with Uncle Clay

Uncle Clay called and invited the kids down to the farm to help him with his garden! The twins adore Uncle Clay and watch every move he makes! When they were toddlers the boys didnt know what to think about his "gruff" and teasing personality. Now they think he is the best thing ever! Uncle Clay is always listed in their prayers, and pretend play usually involves him too! When the boys found out that we were going to the farm they picked out their "Guy Harvey" fish shirts to wear that Uncle Clay and Aunt Justina brought them back from their trip to the Keys!

Johnathan and Joseph getting buckets of water for the horse
Jayne Elizabeth still keeps a close eye on her "Uncle Cay"

I am pretty sure he has a fan club!
Garden time!

Jayne Elizabeth loved to pick squash AND eat it at dinner!
Cutest little farm boys ever!
Very proud of Uncle Clay's crops!
As Clay was pouring the lemonade from the jug Joseph said "Uncle Clay made this lemonade perfect for us!"
Trying to get the boat working on the pond

Pulling the boat to shore, and learning about an anchor.

Thanks Uncle Clay!
