My boys!!!

These little guys are BOYS! They are fascinated with motorcycles!
Johnathan turned his sister's toys into a "tractor and feed wagon" for his cows!
Joseph and Johnathan then came through the living room giving "hayrides!!"
I was laughing out loud watching their playtime today! These boys are sooooo cute!

The Lowe Family Farm

Most of you know that our close friends Joe and Dana have two boys, Brody and Briggs! Our children  truly enjoy playing together, and we are pretty fond of their parents! We have little cowpokes on our hands! Recently the Lowe family began construction on their new home on Joe's family farm! We went to "Body and Biggs farm" to play and see the home site! Along with Joe's photography blog he also has a blog to follow as his family builds their new home on the family farm! We are so happy for them!
Brody, Briggs, Johnathan, Joseph and Jayne Elizabeth!!!

Jayne Elizabeth is a spunky cowgirl amongst these little cowboys!
This week is also VBS and our boys are going with Brody and Briggs to their church for Saddle Ridge Ranch! A perfect theme for our crew!

Aunt Justina and Uncle Clay

The boys have had the opportunity to spend some one on one time with Aunt Justina and Uncle Clay during the last few weeks! Aunt Justina was quick to volunteer to come and get Joseph when Johnathan and Jayne Elizabeth had the stomach bug! Joseph went fishing on his special day! Another day they took Johnathan to the Chattanooga children's museum for one on one time! Also, Uncle Clay took Johnathan to the cow sale barn! This was Uncle Clay's first trip alone with one of the kids! Aunt Justina wasn't there so we do not have pictures of that day! These boys are growing up so fast!! I cant believe they are big enough to to be picked up and spend the day away from home! Thanks Aunt Justina and Uncle Clay for taking the time to make memories with our boys, oh Jayne Elizabeth wants to go next!! ha!

Lacey's graduation!

Lacey graduated from high school, and we were there to celebrate too! We are very proud of her accomplishments! She has been a big part of our family the last three years, and now she will be heading away to college this fall! ( we are taking applications for babysitters now! ha! )

I love my in-laws!

I am so thankful that I have great in-laws!!! Anthony has a large family, and I am so thankful that I get along so well with all of them! We have had such a nice visit with Grandpa Tim, Grandma Nadine (Nana), and Uncle Craig this week! It makes my heart smile to see the love and interaction of our families with our kids. I wish my in-laws lived closer. We keep reminding them that our town is a top retirement area! Nana is a preschool teacher and I just cant get enough of her advice and crafts! Grandpa Tim is also a pilot and the boys really are interested in that now! Uncle Craig is loads of fun, and Jayne Elizabeth was pretty fond of him during the visit!

Hey chick!

Granna and Papa have given us a special gift, actually 13 gifts!! In preparation for the twins third birthday "Barnyard Bash" at the farm Papa bought us 13 chicks for the petting zoo portion of the party. Yes, my parents live in a gorgeous farm, but these chicks have entered the city life of our living room at our house! The night they came home with us we were at Tractor Supply buying "brooding lamps" and our chick houses! Jayne Elizabeth squeals at the sight of the chicks and attempts to pick them up by whatever part she can grab quick enough!! Johnathan LOVES the chicks. He talks to them from the upstairs balcony, and even was concerned that he missed "hugging" one of them before bed! Joseph is interested but not attached. The chick houses have graduated from a cardboard box, to a plastic box, and now live in our garage in a cage. The plan is for them to "move" to the farm next week for the party. Again, never say never!!!!!!
