10K- Strawberry Festival

My first 10K is done, my official time was 56:05. The Tennessee hills, with this wind storm were challenging! This is the first race that all my babies came to watch! Those sweet faces can brighten my face at any mile! The Strawberry Festival is in Dayton, which is close to where my parents grew up. My mom "Granna" was actually the Strawberry Festival Queen in high school! My motivation for the first three miles was PRAISING Jesus for our children, specifically the miracles in the NICU for our boys. The last three miles were focused on praying for baby Carter who is fighting hard in the NICU right now. Please join me in prayer for Carter and his precious family. Pray for complete healing of Carter's lungs and specifically that his left lung allow will oxygen to flow, we serve a mighty God who can move mountains, and heal NICU babies! Thank you Jesus for my health, and my families health! We praise you for all things!
These kids were tired, we left our house at 5AM!
"One bad mother runner!" ha!! Thanks Renee for my shirt!
Is a half marathon in the future of this couple?!

Our Aunt Kim

Aunt Kim came to town! We played, ran a 5K, made cupcakes, went to a garden show, and attended a women's Bible study! Whew, a busy time! Our family adores Aunt Kim! Jayne Elizabeth did decide to keep Aunt Kim awake all night prior to the 5K!  They were sharing a bedroom, and Jayne Elizabeth decided to name our entire family heritage, and discuss each body part along with the phases of the moon coninuously as Aunt Kim tried to sleep! ha! We were reminded how precious she is while we have been staying with our dear friends and newborn at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital this week. Aunt Kim is there once again to help us through it!

Lacey's Senior Prom!

Just thinking about it being Lacey's last year in high school makes me sad! She will be moving off to college even though we have tried multiple ways to keep her in town! ha! This weekend amongst the tornado warnings and heavy rain Lacey had Prom! The twins were bashful when it came time for pictures, and Jayne Elizabeth was soaked from the rain! However Lacey, Caroline and Paige were all gorgeous!
Precious....

Grandma Gail comes to town!

Grandma Gail recently was given 5 nine week old puppies!! This will keep her very busy, and assures frequent trips to the veterinarian! This trip she brought all the puppies for vaccinations, and our kids loved these puppies! Though I am not sure how much the puppies loved the kids! Grandma Gail also kept all three kids this morning while I ran a 5K and then went to a women's Bible study! Thanks Grandma Gail!

Weaned.

It is official. Jayne Elizabeth is no longer breastfeeding. She did great with the transition. Actually she stopped nursing last week, but I am just now talking about it! ha! We attempted to stop breastfeeding last month, but I dont think she was ready. But when we started to decrease her feedings and have Anthony put her to bed last week she did great! With the boys it was a necessity to wean, I was three months pregnant with their sister! But this time was harder for me, especially knowing she will be the last baby to nurse! I am so thankful that breastfeeding worked so well for our family, it is a precious time, and I am humbled to be the Mommy to these three little ones! I want to enjoy each moment, and hold on to these times as the Lord provides them to us!

I want my mommy!
Anthony's office manager bought Jayne Elizabeth this bib last month! So funny!
Jayne Elizabeth is doing great, and such a big girl!

Cruze Farm Milk!!

On one of our monthly trips to Knoxville's Earth Fare organic grocery store we spotted the best display of milk! It was our friend's Jack and Jake on the label of their family farm milk! Jack and Jake's mommy was raised on a dairy farm too! Currently their family farm milk, bottle, and pasteurize jersey cow's milk! You can find their milk at local markets in the area!  Please visit their blog Cruze farm girl. This is a neat family, and we are so glad to know them!

The twin's had their first chocolate milk, but Jayne Elizabeth enjoyed the whole milk!!
Delicious!

Look, it is Jack and Jake with their Uncle! He works on the farm like our Uncle Clay!
Maybe this is a future Cruze farm girl!!  ha!
Milk, it does a body good!
Oh, the boys LOVED chocolate milk!!!
