Team Lacey!

Softball season is here, and Lacey had her home opener today! There is no question when we arrive that we will be cheering on the panthers, and we are Team Lacey! The boys really were interested in watching her pitch! Joseph said "fast!" At Lacey's first at bat she had an awesome hit and with the sound of the bat hitting the ball Johnathan said "boom!" Joseph was grinning so big after her at bat! These boys are very proud of their "Yay-see." Johnathan and Joseph told everyone that their shirts said  "Yay-cee and her numbers."  Jayne Elizabeth was more interested in the cookies on a stick!

Go Lacey, Go!
Lacey's mom helped keep us warm!
Great game, a win against Dekalb!

Bugs!!

Today after the rain stopped we headed outside on a bug hunt! Johnathan and Joseph would call to the bugs "where are you bugs?" "come see us." Jayne Elizabeth enjoyed running free in the yard, street, and trees! ugh!! I need jogging shoes to huddle these three in the same direction!

Taking a break from the mighty bug hunt
"My found tree bugs!"

Hmmm, the boys insisted that bugs were in the mud!
Apparently our nets will catch bugs, and fish in the water too!

Happy Friday!!!

Johnathan crinkles his nose when he says certain words like "marshmellow", "snow", or even a normal sentence! It is so funny, but now I am starting to crinkle my nose too! He is hysterical, and still a Mommy's boy! Johnathan is my snuggle bunny, and each morning sits on the couch with me and drinks his milk while saying "Mommy, I love you" in different voices. He is the only one of the three that loves physical touch, so we get along great!  Precious and funny is our Johnathan.

Got Milk?

Our bedtime ritual involves a cup of yogurt ( maybe pudding! ) and a cup of milk during the Backyardigans. This is a familiar sight on our couch before bed!! Precious snuggle time! My favorite feeling is to hold all three babies in my lap. Please dont look close, we are still wearing Christmas pajamas! But- we are going a little slow this week. Anthony is on his 7 day on call stretch AND we have our first viral rash, itch, scratch, itch!

Indoor Water Park!

Anthony and I decided Friday that we would take the kids Saturday to Gatlinburg! Our sixth anniversary is this week! The other verterinarian is off, so Anthony will work extra long hours and be on call for the next seven days straight! We definately needed to celebrate this weekend!! Yes, for our anniversary we played with our babies and grandparents!! We spent the night, and the entire day at a resort with a indoor water park!! We had so much fun, and were able to relax and enjoy precious time together!! We were so thankful Granna and Papa were spontaneous and joined us for the fun! The kids behavior was amazing, and they were so funny! Truly and enjoyable weekend, and a great anniversary celebration before the tough week ahead. Praising God this week for our marriage and blessings!
"Bear" was the favorite word this weekend!

They slid down this slide 1000 times, seriously!
Awe, a relaxing moment....kinda!
Basketball, even in the water!!!
My favorite picture...look at these smiles!
Jump, jump! Papa says "whoah Joseph!"
Look at this baby!!

Water boys!

Sleepy girl, swimming is exhausting!

For our Tennesse friends, this trip is a must!! Easy, fun, and toddler friendly!

Tickeled Pink!!

Jayne Elizabeth has earned a post to herself!!! She has quite the personality shining through! She is spunky!! My sweet, shy, calm baby has now become her very own little girl! She is hysterical! She gives back what is given to her, and with identical twin brothers that are one year older, she is tough!!! This baby has a sweet little voice that now says "no" to most requests! Daddy does not approve! Jayne Elizabeth loves to run wild from room to room! Oddly, this pattern is one that we recognize all to well! Jayne Elizabeth, please dont pay so close attention to your big brothers! Honestly, we are enjoying her so much! She keeps us laughing, and is so stinkin' cute!
Note that she even chooses to play "farm!" Honestly baby girl, we must introduce you to the spa! I love this baby sooooo much!

Snow babies

Do we live in Alaska?!? Nope, we live in the South!! However we do have over 6 inches of snow, and still snowing! Our kids have loved playing in the snow, and the subsequent hot chocolate that follows playing in the snow! Jayne Elizabeth now looks out the windows and says "nooo." I thought she had her Mommy's Florida blood and was trying to say NO to snow, but I think she is saying SNOW and dropping the "s" sound! Bless her little southern heart! We have even had snow playdates! Yep, the girls from the the South are learning how to manage all this white weather!

Etta, please send us a girl snowsuit from Michigan!
Awe, brother pulling the baby!
Our friend Titus with Johnathan trying to "my do it!" alone!
Uncle Clay is "fast!"
