Christmas Company

Grandma Gail came and stayed several days with us when we celebrated Jayne Elizabeth's birthday! The kids had so much fun! They baked, and played lots!  I LOVE talking twins with her, she has raised amazing twin boys, and is so reassuring to us on parenthood! She also made Jayne Elizabeth this adorable doll and basket, although she was more interested in Grandma's water at the time! I am sure she will play with it later!

Mmmm, Grandma Gail's cookies!

So, I think the boys look like twins, despite not matching!

Having "hot chocolate" with sister's tea pot!

                                                               Thanks Grandma Gail!

The Aqaurium

We took the boys for special time with Mommy and Daddy to the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga! Jayne Elizabeth stayed with Granna and Papa for the first time by herself at the farm! Anthony is on-call and working for Christmas, so this was the perfect place for quality time with our boys!  It was gorgeous, and the boys loved it! Penguins, sharks, and the clown fish (Nemo) were the boys favorite! The butterfly garden also produced lots of smiles! It was a great day!

Our day was complete with a special treat to Ben and Jerry's icecream!

A Winter ONEderland Celebration!!

Our little snowflake turned ONE! We celebrated sweet Jayne Elizabeth's first birthday with a party in our home with family and friends! I love birthday parties! It was so much fun, and was everything we wanted for our little girl's first party!

                                                Brrr,  Scarves for our guest!

Jayne Elizabeth's ultrasound picture and birth announcement!

Party favors

It is snowing gorgeous snowflakes!

Let it snow for the birthday girl!

Let it snow, let it snow! We turned our playroom into a Winter Onederland, complete with LOTS of snow and ice for the kids to enjoy! Sixty-eight snowflakes were suspended from the celing for added fun!

The cake!

Mmmm!! White chocolate raspberry and vanilla! The cake is always my favorite part of a birthday party, and this cake was wonderful, and pretty too! It was exactly what we wanted for this baby girl!

Let's Eat!

The food was fun! Artic slush to drink, a snowman cheese ball to eat, and the snowman buttons(meatballs) were all a favorite of the kids. Adults enjoyed white chicken chili, and appetizers! It also was special to Anthony and myself because we used our china and crystal from our wedding to serve our guests, this baby girl is sooo special!

The Hot Cocoa Buffet

Brrrr, it's cold outside! The hot cocoa buffet, with homemade hot chocolate was the party favorite! We offered whip cream, peppermint sticks, mini-marshmellows, white and dark chocolate chips, irish cream, and white chocolate raspberry flavoring to compliment Jayne Elizabeth's cake!
