Bright eyes

We thought we would share a more recent picture! The hospital pictures are precious, but she looks so different now without all the swelling! This picture looks like Jayne Elizabeth! She loves to eat and sleep....and we are thankful for that!

Going home...

After work Daddy came to get us from the hospital and bring us home! Aunt Tina was there to help coordinate the event. Packing up and a car ride with our csection early Wednesday morning, and then discharged home Thursday night! Wow, we were surprised at the early discharge, but we are all doing fine at home. Jayne Elizabeth donned the biggest bow in Crossville for her debut at home!

Our Sister!

Johnathan and Joseph meet Jayne Elizabeth! The boys came to the hospital to meet their little sister! However they thought it was a party for them! The hospital room was filled with their favorite people!!! Daddy, Mommy, Uncle Clay, Grandma and Grandpa Holmes, Grandma Gail, Aunt Anne, Lacey, and Aunt Tina were all their to see them.....and their sister. The boys had presents from friends waiting for them, and were given their favorite snacks! It was a real party in Jayne Elizabeth's hospital room! When asked where the baby was, the boys would laugh and point at her, then return to playing! The cutest was when they would stand in front of her and wave, then run. Joseph was more interested in looking at her, and Johnathan was very laid back. We did not hold Jayne Elizabeth in front of the boys, so they will be very surprised when the "baby" is at their house! We came home from the hospital yesterday night. Anthony's mom, Grandma Gail went back to Indiana tonight, and we will miss her! She has been home with us since Jayne Elizabeth came home, and she has our house spotless and the laundry is done!! She was so helpful to me, and allowed Anthony to go back to work yesterday! My Mom and Aunt Anne have the boys down at the farm, and will keep them there this weekend. We are all adjusting to this PRECIOUS baby girl, and will unite the entire family at home on Monday! As for now, I am loving the time I have with one baby!! It is amazing, and Jayne Elizabeth has melted my heart!

Baby Update!

We went to our OB this morning!! We are 40 weeks, this week!! I feel great, and have no pregnancy related problems! However, since I am trying to avoid another csection, the plan is to induce me tomorrow morning! Please pray with us that labor will progress timely with a healthy baby and Mommy, and a csection will be avoided.
God Bless, the next update will be with baby #3!!!

Christmas Parade

Brrrrr.....Merry Christmas! We took the boys to the parade. Johnathan and Joseph were very interested in the lights. The boys seemed to be intrigued by the sounds, people, lights, big trucks and tractors. This was their first parade, and it was a lighted Christmas parade! Their eyes were wide open and they would wave and clap for the floats! Although they didn't seem to enjoy the cold air! Lacey met us there, and even saved us a parking spot! It was fun enjoying the season with our family, Lacey, and the Boston crew! The boys were cute and festive in their reindeer and penguin hats!

Play Ball

The boys have had their ball pit since they were infants! They do not play in it as much as they did, but every once in a while they will jump in!! Johnathan and Joseph love to wrestle in their ball pit, but we try limit this! Well, today we walked into the playroom to find Mr. Johnathan emptying all the balls onto the floor!! This amused Joseph, and bouts of laughter followed. The boys then decided to hide under the ball pit, play peek-a-boo with us and the ball pit, and enjoy the huge array of toys and balls covering the floor! The boys were so proud of their accomplishments! Johnathan was so exhausted after this, he couldn't even stay awake to watch the Gators win the SEC championship...but I am sure he was dreaming of Atlanta!
