Trunk or Treat!

The Fox and The Hound go to Trunk or Treat! The boys went to our church for trunk or treat! It was so funny! The boys practiced sharing by handing out candy! We were all surprised at how they would take the candy and put it into the other kids bags! So cute! The boys were entertained while we were there by Aunt Tina, Uncle Dale, Grandpa and Grandma Holmes, Lacey, April, Mommy and Daddy! Whew, it takes a village to trunk-or-treat with twins! ha!

Again, thank-you Grandma Gail for making Joseph's fox costume!

Hinch Pumpkin Carving

The boys went to Tonya's annual pumpkin carving! There were 200 pumpkins ready to be carved! Yes, the night before they had a "gutting party", so all the pumpkins were ready when we arrived! It was so organized! There was binders with patterns, tools on the tables, and great food waiting!! All the kids enjoyed playing and carving pumpkins ( or the parents enjoyed carving the pumpkins..ha! ) Can't wait until next year!

The Fox and The Hound!!!

Happy Halloween!!! A sneak preview to their costumes tomorrow night. This year the boys are "The Fox and The Hound" from the Disney movie!! They are so cute!!! But, it is so hard to get a picture of them together, they are very active little characters!
A BIG thank-you to Grandma Gail for making Joseph's fox costume!! After a world-wide search for a fox costume with no success, Grandma Gail made the perfect costume to match Johnathan's hound costume! So here they are.......

Autumn Acres

Today we enjoyed the gorgeous weather at Autumn Acres Corn Maze. The boys enjoyed the petting zoo, corn box, pumpkin patch, and hayride! Of course they pointed out every pumpkin!! whew! The word of the day at the corn maze was "boots." Yes, that is right. The boys have their first pair of boots and had the opportunity to wear them today! It is a very busy week with costumes, parties and pumpkins, so stay tuned for more pictures!!

Pumpkin Party

Aunt Justina and Uncle Clay invited us to carve pumpkins at the farm! So we all went down to Grandma and Grandpa Holmes' house to carve our first pumpkins! It was fun, but Daddy had to be quick to carve because our attention span was short! It was bunches of fun, and we enjoyed carrying the small pumpkins around Grandma's house. We do recognize the word "pumpkin" and we are very quick to point out the pumpkins on our front porch at home. Fall is fabulous! We think it is our Mommy's favorite season!

Nashville

Anthony and I spent the afternoon in Nashville with the boys on Friday. We were there for a follow-up doctor appointment at Vandy for Joseph. Things look great, we are just waiting on lab results for the final OK. We saw Dr. Vanderpool, who was the boys NICU resident, and Johnathan's family practice doctor while we stayed in Nashville after their birth! It was so good to see him, and I am thankful he is now a fellow in the GI department at Vandy! It is reassuring to trust and know the doctor's who care for our children! However the highlight of the boys day was seeing "Aunt" Kim!!! We stopped at the Opry Mills mall to shop while in Nashville, and "Aunt" Kim met us there. The boys had their first lunch at Rainforest Cafe!! It was fascinating to the boys! I am sure we will be back there to eat again!

Oh, thanks Aunt Jaime for the sweaters from Sam and Whit! They are adorable!

Johnathan...zzzzz.

When I came home from work, Johnathan was still taking his nap! Lacey put him down on his mat when he fell asleep, and he stayed there! It was so cute! I think it makes him look like such a big boy! Sweet dreams Johnathan.....
