Celebrate!

One year ago today, our Joseph had his BIG surgery! In the NICU at Vanderbilt Dr. Yang took him to have his esophagus connected to his tummy!! We just can't stop praising God for Joseph, and his complete healing! No complications, no follow-ups, and " a medically unexplainable" recovery! Praise God! ( can you see the huge smile on my face as I type this?!! ) We are also reminded of the excellent medical care we received and the support and unending prayers! Joseph and Mommy after surgery
This verse was the scripture we confessed and had written on the board in his NICU room the day of his surgery: " You are the God who works wonders; You have made known Your strength among the peoples." Psalm 77:14
**Know that God is capable and trustworthy. When you meet new trials ; review how good God has been to you, and this will strengthen your faith. Let the miracles of today and the miracles known in the Bible remind each of us of God's power, protection, and love. **
He Lives!

Bark in the Park!

The Crossville Depot Days were over the weekend, and the site for the first annual Bark in the Park. A big thank-you to Dr. Karen McGlothlin that works with Daddy for being an instrumental force in the planning and organization of the event! The event was a success! There were contests, prizes and a parade! The boys had a great time! Daddy wasn't able to be there because he was at the vet clinic seeing patients!! The vet clinic staff was a big help during the event! The girls from the clinic entered Velvet in the "ugliest dog" contest, and she won due to being the only candidate! Joseph was sad because he thinks his dog is beautiful! It was great day!

Sprout Studio!

Daddy had the day off and we went to Knoxville!! It was a busy day! We shopped, went out to lunch, went to the childrens play gym and to the twin girls basketball games!! whoah! We all were so tired. The boys were late for bedtime, but did well. Sprout Studio was the play gym and it was so much fun! The boys loved it! It was so nice letting them play everywhere, and not having to say "no" that something was off limits! They loved the freedom and new environment! We will go back for more playtime! It was so fun watching the boys explore! We wish we had Daddy to help more often!

Pool time

Mommy is working the weekend at the hospital, this is her first one back, and her last! So Daddy has the boys this weekend! Their Saturday was a blast!! Daddy took them by himself to K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Kroger and out to eat Mexican! Wow!!! If only Mommy could have been a fly on the wall!! ha! The result of the shopping is a small pool and memory foam for the boys beds!!! Mommy couldn't believe it when she came home. The boys seem to love the pool! Daddy said they also enjoyed a cheese quesadilla! Joseph told Mommy that the nice mexican guy at lunch was big help! Oh my, Mommy is having chest pain! ha! Needless to say, Daddy's are more fun!!! Happy Father's Day!!
