Happy Halloween!

Under the Sea, with three! This year the lobster costumes were a hit with the boys! Their love for lobsters comes from Uncle Clay and his scuba diving, and lobster season in the Florida Keys! Lately sweet Jayne Elizabeth is loving anything princess, or mermaid related!! So this year was an easy theme for the J crew. Cousin Sam even fit into the family, as Sam the shark! A perfect bunch of sea creatures if you ask me!

Joseph loved his "claws." They were "scary!"

This little mermaid loved the sparkle, and especially her head band.

After my pictures by the "sea", we headed out to the neighbors! The Chamberlin house is always first on the list! Ms Becky has great candy, and Mr Eric even supplied his money. The kids love to get his change!

The group picture! We enjoyed Trunk or Treat at our church. Central Baptist does such a great job putting this together for the community.
Sam the shark!! Cute little guy on his first Halloween!

This was my favorite car trunk, the Warner family does such an amazing scene!
Lobster Joseph with cousin Sam the shark!
Under the Sea, as a FAMILY, ha!

Uncle Clay, he is so important to us! Look at his wife and son, awe!
Granna with the grandkids! I think she has her hands full!

The Apple Farm

We went up the mountain to the Apple Farm with Papa, Granna and Uncle Clay. The kids enjoyed the pumpkin patch and picking out the apples!  We enjoyed fresh apples on the picnic tables. The kids learned first hand how much the bees like the apple juice!!

Beautiful Fall Farm Day

The weather is gorgeous. I took the time to take the kids on a road trip to marvel at the Lord's gorgeous creation. We prayed and thanked Him for providing us with the Tennessee mountains, the beautiful leaves, and a gorgeous farm.  It was a memory that I hope we don't forget.

Fall Concert

KIMM, or kids in music ministry performed at our church in October. This was Jayne Elizabeth's debut performance and she did great! No stage fright for her! I think it is amazing how much the kids learn during KIMM, and during the choir at their school. The KIMM teachers do an amazing job teaching hand bells, and introducing how to read music. Our kids enjoy practice, and love to sing!!! It makes me smile so big to see the kids sing. Johnathan remains a little shy on stage, while Joseph uses a big voice and states his words proudly! Jayne Elizabeth enjoys performing, at any time and any place!
Sweet....

Mark and Anthony, are picture taking proud Dads!

Fall fun

It has become an annual fall activity to go to Murfreesboro and run the Middle Tennessee Half Marathon. It is special because MTSU is in Murfreesboro and this is Granna and Papa's alumni. We go spend the weekend, run the race, go pick out pumpkins, and have fun! Papa and Granna go down memory lane as they follow the race course, and the kids think that is neat too!
Great course, and I ran my personal record for the half marathon, 1 hr 42 minutes. It was a special day because my family was there to cheer me on! My parents, and my cousin Stephen came with his family too!
We go to Uncle Clay's fraternity brothers family farm to pick out pumpkins.

Papa took us to the MTSU new dairy science facility. It is very nice!!! Papa is still very active on the MTSU advisory and alumni committees. The calf barn was a first for the boys.

The Old Fort Park along the Murfreesboro Greenway is gorgeous!! Beautiful fall weather, trails, leaves falling. Natural beauty!

Our kids loved the outdoor play area. Very nice park.
