Kindergarten!!!

Good Morning! As I type this my sweet little ones are still in bed sleeping. The boys are going to their first full day of Kindergarten. I am humbled, many prayers have been answered. Prayers from the birth of preemie twins with birth defects, all the way to the prayers of the teacher and school. God cares about every detail. I am so thankful that Johnathan and Joseph are excited to go to school!!
Yesterday was the introduction day at Crossville Christian School. It was a busy week, night, and morning preparing all the supplies, clothes, and snacks for three little ones. Anthony has had a six day oncall/work schedule, so this too has made Mommy stress. But, I am so happy to say despite several unplanned obstacles the day went great!!! Only a few tears from this Mommy as I prayed early in the morning, no tears at school from anyone!
The breakfast surprise table!
As they each woke up I sang to them "good morning its your first day of school", and led them to the table to see their new wipe-off boards with a message!

Don't forget the teachers, they have already earned a treat if you ask me!
Twas the night before school, all clothes are pressed and hanging, only one kid stirring........
Johnathan apparently needed his baseball trophy and post cards from grandparents to sleep with him...
Jayne Elizabeth needed ALL of her babies and stuffed animals to sleep in her bed........

And then here is sweet Joseph, apparently still happy and awake at 10:00 pm!

But Mommy is right, Joseph was very tired at breakfast the next morning  :-(
Johnathan was so excited about school he woke-up ready to call his friends and family and tell them all about it. Too bad the time zones woke several people up!!

Wow, look at these two Kindergarten boys!
I think they are happy?!? lol.
I had each of them write their own name on their new boards, then I did the rest!

Now, here she is!!! Our sweet baby girl!!!! K-4, is that possible already?

 Makes a Mommy's heart melt.....

At school, in Ms Aprel's class!! We are looking forward to a great year!!

The boys Kindergarten class includes their friend Titus! Ms Tracey has an amazing class too!

Creation Museum

Our boys are very into dinosaurs!!! We decided along with Joe and Dana to take the boys to the Creation Museum in Cincinnati, OH. We met them at the hotel to prepare for the next days adventure with the dinosaurs. It is very important to our family to teach history from the Biblical truth.
The state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot museum brings the pages of the Bible to life, casting its characters and animals in dynamic form and placing them in familiar settings. Adam and Eve live in the Garden of Eden. Children play and dinosaurs roam near Eden’s Rivers. The serpent coils in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.  Murals, masterpieces and Biblical history provide a backdrop for many of the settings.
On the trip we stopped for a treat!

Johnathan, Joseph, Brody and Briggs

Anthony enjoys the show "Diners, driveins, and dives." While we were there we visited Terry's Turf Club. A very long wait, but we had a very big burger!!!

Also, a Cincinnati culinary experience is Sky Line Chili. The boys loved it!
Exhausting day, resting back at the hotel.

Spring Times

I really make an effort to see the little things. Sometimes I think the simplest task that our kids do is absolutely precious. I find myself thinking " I never want to forget that, or I want to always remember that look." I don't pull out the camera for everything, but I do try and capture "moments" that make our family complete.
Jayne Elizabeth loves softball!! Lacey and Mr Ronnie have been a positive influence here. Here she is with her pink bat, and her spring dress and shoes. Priceless.
Johnathan loves legos, loves to build towers, hunting stands etc.
"Polar bears" flooding my bath tub. Priceless.
My love is snuggling these kids. My heart is full when I have one in my arms.
Best brothers. I love the way the sleep.
Oh, Daddy. He was so proud to put up the basketball goal! Look at these muscles!
Jayne Elizabeth adores her friend Andrew. Play dates are so special!
"Bing, buuush." Yes, these are the shooting sounds from the duck blind, or my pillow.
Oh, this girl!!!! Basketball, boots, and her dress! Love her!
A sweet little girl pouting. It is tough having twin brothers!!! lol.
One of my favorite pictures at the farm.
Oh, yes. We have a "freezer" for the meat, and a bow and arrow to hunt!! Papa and Uncle Clay's influence is apparent with these boys!
Velvet and Smokey, our family pets.
I love to see them "read" to each other. Joseph is happy!
Once again, we are hunting...... a great place is in the tub!
Or you can hide from Mommy in her dirty clothes cabinet.......
Lord, Thank you for the moments like these. Amen.
