When Anthony and I are off from work we attempt to go to the lake house to cool off! The kids have become very comfortable at the house and still LOVE the water!! We enjoyed the weekend visit with long time friends, Buck and Shelly Bussey. Buck is a veterinarian that Anthony worked with before opening Best Friends! Buck's boys came too, the kids loved that! "Mr. Eric" is our neighbor who is home from law school, he came with us to the lake! I think our trio called his name continuously!
Thanks Remmer family for our centipede float!!
Daddy and the big boys enjoyed the rope swing off the dock.......
Eric and Jayne Elizabeth in a discussion!
Oh. My. Yes, the "big boys" swinging on the rope swing gave my "little boys" the burning desire to swing out over the water too!!! At first I said "NO", but then realized that this is part of growing up. So I looked the other way while they repeatedly enjoyed the swing!!
Eric and his relaxing float became a "pirate ship." The boys would chase him and try to push him off his float!
Dr. Buck and the trio!
My favorite picture this far!
Mrs. Shelly with Jayne ELizabeth
Our kids wanted to tube and ski so bad, I said "NO", and meant it!
BUT---our kids did watch ME ski!!! Yep, I can still ski after all these years :)

Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day Dad, Grandpa Tim, Grandaddy Warlick, Papaw Vaughn and to the father of my children, Anthony!!
Each of you are amazing examples of love, and our families are blessed to have you......
For the man whose arms are strong enough to carry the children, whole worlds, the warm, pulsing life-prayers of a woman.
For the man strong enough to take his life and lay it right down with wide open laps and storybooks and paying the stacks of bills and long bike rides and games of UNO and plunged toilets and even longer hours and hauled bags of garbage and laughing tag at twilight and then, night upon thousandth night, kneeling by bedsides, head bowed, heart taking on frame before God and family,
the way a real man leads.
For the man who dies a bit more
everyday,
falls to the ground,
makes his life this field
to grow all our lives towards
Father God.
Blessings on each of you, beautiful friends…
All is grace,
A Holy Experience

Vacation Bible School
VBS! VBS! This year was another successful VBS at our church! We changed grades that we taught, and decided to assist teaching Mrs. Wille with the 2-3 year olds, Jayne Elizabeth's class! This year we headed to New York City for a Big Apple Adventure. I wasnt crazy about the theme, but was excited to talk and listen to the little ones tell us about Jesus! P.R.E.C.I.O.U.S. and exhausting! Johnathan and Joseph had amazing teachers!! I was thrilled with their class and teachers!! They looked like such big boys at VBS!
Mrs. Wille during Bible lesson
Jayne Elizabeth at "Central Park"Andrew and Jayne Elizabeth were too cute! They truly adore each other, and can make each other smile!
We shared music time with the twins class, I loved watching them!
VBS crafts are fun!
Daddy or Dr. Anthony, holding an exhausted VBS Jayne Elizabeth! Class ended at 8:30, bedtime!
Titus is one of the boys' favorite friends!
I snuck into the 4 year olds to observe, and I saw such big boys in that room :)
Abigail and Joseph, she is a doll!!!
Joseph practicing his songs on stage
The last night is a small performance, Granna and Papa were in the audience!
Jayne Elizabeth and friends on stage, briefly. She decided to not stay there long, she forgot her "listening ears" that night. :)
Joseph and Johnathan with Abigail and her bear Bruce in the middle! Joseph enjoyed the singing, Johnathan didnt stay focused as long.
Planting seeds for Jesus, one child at a time.............

Oh, Cousin!
We were super excited to find out that our Indiana cousins Whit and Sam were coming to Tennessee with Grandma Gail for the twins birthday weekend! We are so happy to share our birthday with these special cousins! It is a VERY busy house with 5 children under 5 years old, and four of those are boys! Bless Jayne Elizabeth! Anthony is on-call this weekend, but he has managed to spend some excellent quality time with all the kids! Grandma Gail knows all allergies and all schedules, she spends lots of time with Whit and Sam in Inidana! I love family.
Bark in the Park, the veterinarian's family must take their cousins to this sponsored event!
Yes, a cute picture at Bark in the Park with all five kids!
Jayne Elizabeth adores Sam!! She follows him everywhere, and has his name on repeat!
Grandma Gail, you are so good!
A little icee for hot little kids, a much needed break for Grandma and Aunt Elizabeth :)
Grandma Gail is also making the birthday cakes! These little boys love to taste!
Sam and Whit have taught these boys several things, the best is how to "pump" your legs and swing!
Awe, Grandma Gail and our girl!! We miss cousin Etta!!!! Next time it is a girls trip with Etta!
My FAVORITE picture, does it get any cuter?!?! Jayne Elizabeth and Sam.
Whit and Joseph played lots of soccer, there is lots of toughness here~
Wow, Uncle took on a mighty task! Teaching football to the boys! Plays, teams, and PATIENCE :)
Joseph and Whit, now a football team!
Awe, sweet story time. Each one picked out a book, and we read them all before bed....
Thank you Aunt Jaime, Uncle Rusty and Etta for sharing your boys with us!

Just us, our family!
It is nice to have pictures of daily life. There are not many times we have an "outsider" available to capture these moments. Sometimes in the middle of little things I think, I just want to remember this. Little diaper bottoms, cute feet, the sound of "mommy", the talk between the kids, the imaginary friends. I adore our family, I want Jesus to receive all the glory for arranging this perfectly imperfect family. Our family does not look what I could of imagined in my wildest dream! Anthony and I discussed 3-4 children, 2-3 years apart! Wow!!!! We were BLESSED with three children in less than 18 months!! So many days it feels like a constant struggle to be loving, patient, kind, and productive with three little ones, and a hubby that has the responsibility beyond imagination on his hands! But, I know that Jesus has the perfect plan already established! As time goes by I see glimpses of that plan, and it humbles me to tears to know that he chose us, to be together until He calls us home.
Teaching hopscotch to our little guys!
This is a snap shot each evening!! Daddy getting home from work, three little ones playing outside! This is what my memory will see forever of this age.....I think we have a stair step order of children here~Daddy took off his scrubs, it is time for races! I think Mommy jumps highest!
Yes, I will play with you sweet baby girl!
Wrestle and pillows with Daddy before bed!
Jayne Elizabeth enjoys MY makeup!! After she gently applied my mascara ( to her face ) she made her debut for her brothers. Johnathan said "what on your face sister?? It looks like camoflauge.." So sweet and sincere, but it wasnt appreciated by his sister.....ha, ha!
Our precious little girl loves her food, and loves to wear it too!!! Here is her peanut butter facial! What can I say, she is just like her mama! I see chocolate pedicures in our future!
Thank you Jesus for this perfectly imperfect family. Thank you for friends and family that help us on this journey. Let them see you, through me.
