Pumpkin Party!

Aunt Justina had a pumpkin party at Granna and Papa's house at the farm! This is becoming an annual event! This year she made gorgeous spider and cat cupcakes! The kids loved them. We carved pumpkins and had lots of good food!

Joseph fell off the table while carving his pumpkin, and his first bloody nose and busted mouth was the result!
Uncle Clay was sure to pay special attention to Joseph, and he loved it.

Fall farms are beautiful!

During our weekend in Murfreesboro we decided last minute to stay Saturday night too!  This meant a trip to Target for PJs etc! The kids were excited to stay at the "E" again! The "E" was the Embassy Suites that has a great marketing tool, a large and lighted "E" on the top of the ten story hotel! One reason we stayed was to go with Uncle Clay to visit his college friend Donald. Donald has a family farm that produces pumpkins and has a fall activity on the property! We picked out our pumpkins (again!) and enjoyed his farm!

We love the american farmer!

While we were in Murfreesboro for the half marathon we visited a few of Uncle Clay's fraternity brothers! Granna, Papa, and Uncle Clay all went to MTSU in Murfreesboro! The first stop was Mac's farm. Mac and his family farm all types of produce! We picked up boxes of sweet potatoes for Papa and Uncle to take on their hunting trip to North Dakoda. It was so neat to see from the ground to the box process of the sweet potato!
The favorite of the day: The Combine!!

A very big, cleaned, and sorted sweet potato!

Half marathon!!!!

I never thought 13.1 miles would feel so good! The Middle Tennessee Half was amazing! All the prayers were answered! I am happy and proud to tell you that I have never been this fit or healthy in my life! It took 6 months, and 6 days a week training to finish my first half marathon in 1 hour and 36 minutes!!!!! I am so thankful to ALL the people who supported me during this adventure! A great running coach, supportive friends, an awesome family helped me achieve this goal! It was a great day, but it took many months to make it happen! Now, where do I run to next?!?
Race time temperature was 41 degrees...brrr!
But I was jumping for joy during mile one!

Mr. Andy plays football!

When we were over at Brody and Briggs' house we played football!! As Johnathan watched "the big boys" play his little eyes watered with tears! He wanted to play too! Kendra's husband Mr. Andy was sure to include the twins in all the details! From playmaking to the huddle formation the boys did it all! Joseph loved putting his hands on his knees in the huddle!
 Listening to "coach" Andy!
Getting set for a pass play!
 Briggs and the boys!
The "tag" or "tackle" was very exciting!
 They loved it!
