A beautiful day

We have had several gorgeous days to play outside! The kids love it! It is a much needed break from inside activities for Mommy and the kids! With all three walking, or running, it makes fresh air and open spaces that much nicer! We love to be outside, and are enjoying these gorgeous days!

Date Night, Disney on Ice!

It was date night in Knoxville for myself, Anthony and the boys! Anthony had the afternoon off and we were so excited for some quality time with these boys! Anthony moved their carseats up to the front so we could talk more on the drive over, and Johnathan and Joseph knew this was a special night! We took them to dinner at Outback, and let them order...they picked a cheeseburger with fries! Johnathan and Joseph could not sit still long enough to eat because they were focused on "NEMO!" After a quick dinner, we headed to Disney on Ice, Finding Nemo!

The boys LOVED the show! Joseph literally was sitting on the edge of his seat, and Johnathan's eyes were wide as he stared at the ice! It kept their attention the entire time! We are so thankful that we decided to take them to see Disney on Ice! It was a memory worth making! The show was fabulous. I am so thankful for my three gentlemen to go with to dinner and a show!

At the end of the show, the boys requested "two ice keems", so of course on the way home we ended our perfect date with icecream! It was a fabulous night!

Pink Update!

Jayne Elizabeth is ELEVEN months old! She is walking, and talking! She has four teeth, bless her heart! Her words are: dada, mama, dog, book, and this! She loves to point things out with her finger. Her favorite foods are tofu, sweet potato puree, and soy yogurt. Yes, she does appear to have a type of dairy allergy, we will see a pediatric allergist next month! She still gets up at night to nurse, and is awake with her brothers by 6:30AM! She is extremely laid back, but recently has found her voice! These pictures were my attempt at getting a photo invitation ordered for her FIRST birthday party, however I quickly decided I wasnt a photographer and went with cardstock instead! Enjoy, this girl is precious!

Big boy underwear and wet floors.

We are BEING potty trained! We have gradually introduced the concept and the twins have been sitting on the potty some through the day the last few months. For some reason I took the diapers away last week, and jumped into big boy underwear and pullups at naps/bedtime! Oh my goodness! Wow, whoah. Yep, it is going that good. Well we have improved from 18 ( eighteen ) pairs of big boy underwear dirty a day last Monday, down to 15 (fifteen) pairs dirty a day on Thursday! They sit on the potty at least twice an hour ( we set a timer ) and pee great! But then they still have accidents all the time! Anthony said today after keeping the boys alone for two hours ( yep, it was his first alone time with them this week! )that we will have to reupholster our couches! The boys enjoy their treat jar the most, I think they pee for gummy rabbits! I am trying to laugh my way through this, because the things they say about their potty experiences are so funny! But we welcome any suggestions!

It's Great to be a Florida Gator!

While in Florida visiting Tiffany and Dave we took Anthony to his first Florida game in the Swamp! It was so much fun! Times sure have changed since I went to the games as a college student! We arrived at game time in the minivan with bottles of water in hand! ha! It was a great weekend, and Anthony gave the University of Florida campus a thumbs up! Dave and Anthony played golf on campus in the morning, and attended the football game that night! Tiffany and I decided shopping that day would be best for us! It was a relaxing and enjoyable weekend! Go Gators!

Florida Girls

This weekend we traveled to Florida to stay with my best friend and her precious family!! The weekend could not have been better! Tiffany is an amazing friend, wife, and Mom! We adore her little girls, and Jayne Elizabeth does too! It was so cute seeing the babies play together! The girls interaction was hysterical! It was a great time, with great friends! The twins preference was to stay home on the farm with the grandparents and skip the girl talk, ha!
