WILD for Briggs' First Birthday
This morning we went on a Jungle Safari at the Lowe Reserve for Briggs' First Birthday! The Safari was complete with lions and zebras, and even an animal hunt topped off with safari hats! Cute! The boys really embraced their WILD side, honoring the party theme for sure!

Happy 8 Months Jayne Elizabeth!
Our sweet baby Jayne Elizabeth is EIGHT months old today! We attempted a photo shoot with our little angel, but she is hard to capture still! A few of Jayne Elizabeth's favorite things :
*playing in her toys, banging them together!
*sleeping, in bed with Mommy and Daddy!
*breastfeeding, alot!
*watching her brothers, do everything and anything!
*trying to crawl, into her brothers!
*a sippy cup, chewing on the spout!
*puree, prefers sweet potato!
We are enjoying the small things, and trying to make it through the big things!! Jayne Elizabeth is a sweet girl, and a doll to hold and snuggle! We pray the next eight months doesnt go by as fast as the first...

Oh brother!! What a girl goes through to get a good picture!

Wiggle Time
We headed to Cookeville to watch a performance and play a little at Wiggle Time. The boys weren't so much into the musical performance but they did enjoy playing in the ball pit, and climbing every toy in the room! Now I know that they prefer playing in a bright colorful room filled with balls, toys to climb, and free space when compared to the adjoined room sitting with kids watching a man sing...ha!

Guess who used the play gym to practice crawling??????

Playdate Tuesday!
I love Tuesday mornings at our house!! We love to have Joseph, Johnathan and Jayne Elizabeth's friends over to play! It makes a great morning, and the boys are learning how to share, which makes me very happy! This Tuesday the kids were: Jackson and Jonah, William and Andrew, Titus and Parker, Audrey, and our three! These kids are so lucky to have friends that share their morning with us! It really is fun, and a great social interaction for the moms and kids! The weather was gorgeous so we took advantage of it and headed outside for sidewalk chalk, bikes and snacks! What a great day!

Grandparents and Uncles!
Granpa Tim, Grandma Nadine, Uncle Kent, and Uncle Craig came for a quick visit!! The boys loved the attention, and even stayed with their grandparents while Anthony and I went to church Sunday night! I think they should move closer! The kids always like it when Grandma Nadine comes because she is a preschool teacher, and she can sing all the songs, and usually brings them great books! Again, I think they should move closer!!!

Geese
On Saturday morning I sat down at my computer to check my blog roll, and the kids watched a Saturday morning cartoon. However instead of the normal smiles and entertainment of blog hopping, I was inspired! My sister-in-law blogged about their family nature walk! I loaded up the kids (Anthony was at work, of course!), and headed to the state park here in Crossville. It was a great experience filled with geese, ants, worms, water, rocks, feathers, and trees! But just keeping it real, there was an incident invloving a hissing, aggressive goose, and me the very overprotective Mommy! I think this goose wanted more of our bread, and certainly forgot his manners! Now, Johnathan and Joseph say "no, NO!", to the beloved state park geese!

Time to sit down, enjoy the view, and take a drink!

And dont forget, our sweet baby girl was there too!

Fire truck and Fire Station!
A group of moms at our church have organized preschool playdates at locations around town for our kids! We are all good friends, and hope that our kids enjoy the fellowship as much as we do! The first event was the Fire Station!!!! The kids LOVED it!! Station #2 firefighters went above and beyond to educate and entertain our kids! Johnathan and Joseph climbed in, out, under and around the fire truck! However when the fireman suggested a ride in the fire truck, the fun began!! The ride was complete with sirens and all! It was so much fun! The funniest part of the day was after all of my effort and concentration to discuss the fire trucks, the color red, and what firemen do, I asked the boys what color was the firetruck?? The answers were "boo" and "geen." We better continue to focus on color....Thank a fireman next time you see one, they really do serve our community well.
The group, and a Double Mint Twin commercial.....
