Go Gators!

It is great to be a Florida Gator! National Champions! Oh alumni status is great!! I love these pictures of the boys in their Gator gear! These pictures of Johnathan and Joseph were taken when we went to Florida when they were 5 months old!!! They were sooooo cute! It is even better now! Jayne Elizabeth donned the same clothes the boys wore tonight to cheer on the team, but she is only 4 weeks old! It just keeps getting better with these sweet baby Gators......Back then.......

And Now....Precious Gator Girl! Jayne Elizabeth cheering on the Florida boys!!! She did get tired and fall asleep. We heard her whisper "Tebow" in her dreams......

Who is Aunt Tina?!?!

Aunt Tina. Aunt Tina is not related to us biologically, but she is a part of our family! We became friends shortly before the birth of the boys, and since that time she has been with us regularly. She went and met the boys in the NICU, and has been there to help our family take care of them ( and now Jayne too! )since then! The boys think she is loads of fun! She is the "cool" one. Aunt Tina makes them laugh, and is full of energy. Today she showed the boys how to blow bubbles with chewing gum. They were skeptical, but very interested! Note the matching shirts below, this is what she brought them back from her vacation!

Jayne Elizabeth

She is a sweetheart! I had no idea how calm, and quiet a baby could be! Jayne Elizabeth is precious! She nurses great, and sleeps most of the day. She still prefers to be awake from 9 PM to 11 PM, but we are working on that! She is a doll, and we are so thankful God chose us to be her parents!

Simple things

It has been a difficult few days for my family and Anthony's family. Sometimes it just feels good to enjoy the simple things. During tough times we must rejoice in the blessings we do have. As a mother we can handle the possible, and give God the control over the impossible. Please join us in prayer for our families that do not live close by.

Why we love Lacey!!

Since coming home from the hospital with Jayne Elizabeth it has been very hard to follow the restrictions from surgery! No lifting, no driving etc....with two little boys! So many people have helped us!! Anthony's work schedule and being on-call leaves us so much time that I have to have someone here with us! Lacey has been on Christmas break, but must return to highschool Monday! boo-hoo! This week when Lacey was here I decided to take a shower before lunch! This is a luxury! All three babies were napping in their beds, so I thought! After exiting my long shower, I found Lacey on the couch with Joseph and Jayne Elizabeth, obviuosly the babies didnt get the memo to take a long nap! But Lacey was relaxed and in control, reading a book! This is why we LOVE Lacey! She even had Joseph and Jayne Elizabeth on a Boppy together. Joseph was very still, and cautious with his baby sister sleeping on top of him! So cute! Next week when Lacey returns to school Aunt Tina, Grandma Holmes, and probably Mrs Becky will be in charge of babysitting all of us! A big thank you to everyone who has helped us out! January 21 is the day I can return to full-time Mommy of three!!

New Year's Resolutions!!

Happy New Year!! We pray that 2009 will be the best year yet! Normally I do not make resolutions, much less share them on the internet! However I thought by sharing, it would allow you to be a part of our goals, and make me accountable!
1. Greet Anthony at the door with a kiss, and not hand him a baby first!
2. Enjoy daily quiet time.
3. Complete a womens Bible Study at least five days a week.
4. Lose the infamous baby weight.
5. Laugh with my kids daily, and find JOY in the daily tasks of staying at home.

Mr. Johnathan

Johnathan LOVES to snuggle! He is always interested in sitting in your lap, and gives hugs freely. He wraps his arms around you when giving a hug, and has a sweet smile. Johnathan enjoys playing independantly, and building with blocks is his favorite activity. He is a "momma's boy" and I secretly love it! Although this picture shows how much he loves his Daddy too! What a great way to welcome a New Year...holding one of our precious babies! Happy New Year, and best blessings in 2009!
