Brrr...it's cold outside!

The weather today is gloomy! It is wet and cold!! But the boys have so much energy, they need to run in the yard! Hayley is home from college, so her and Lacey came by to visit the boys. Anthony and I took the opportunity having extra hands to bundle up the boys and head outside.

Check out the blog post from Saturday, January 19, 2008!! I love the older post pictures!!
Thanks Dr. Karen for our outfits, we are able to wear them again this year!

Playing Outside

We have a new fence!! It is the best investment yet!! I love the ability to sit back and watch the boys play in the backyard without the fear of them running in opposite directions, away from me! ( I am not that fast on my feet these days! ) The fall weather has been cool, but we still enjoy climbing outside, and stomping around in all the leaves!

"Aunt" Tina

Since the boys were born "Aunt" Tina has been a part of their lives. The boys think she is so much fun! Aunt Tina keeps them on Mondays when I work, and takes them to their Mother's Day Out. My Mom keeps them on Wednesday when I work. I think the boys like it when I work.....they run to Aunt Tina and Grandma Holmes when they see them in the mornings, then happily wave bye to me when I leave! Below are pictures of Tina's twin girls Heather and Ashley, and also husband "Uncle" Dale! It is adorable that twins Heather and Ashley are buddies with Johnathan and Joseph!

Great-Grandma and Papaw Vaughn

We had a surprise visit from Anthony's grandparents!! It was great to see them!! I am so thankful the boys have grandparents and great-grandparents to love them! Great-grandma and great-Papaw Vaughn were on the way down to Florida for the winter in the RV and stopped in Crossville for a few days! The boys enjoyed the extra attention, and I enjoyed the break!

Daddy's boy...

Our Joseph is a Daddy's boy. It is so precious. Most days he is first to the door to greet his Daddy ( sometimes I beat him to the door...ha! )when he gets home from work. Both boys are enjoying "wrestling" with Anthony, and love to be chased by him! Daddy's play so differently than a Mommy! Joseph enjoys sleeping a little longer in the mornings, but only after you pick him up out of the crib! Anthony goes upstairs and gets them in the mornings, and some mornings this is what I find when I come into the living room......precious!

Vote!

The moral issues with public policy implications being debated today are far too important for us to ignore. Do your homework on the candidates and vote your values.
Chuck Colson states "Ultimately, our loyalty belongs not to any political party or candidate but to God Almighty. And when the time comes, I believe God may ask each of us how we voted and why." Richard Land states "I encourage people to vote for the candidate at every level who best represents their values and convictions, and then to pray for those in authority over us as required in Scripture."
