It is a first!

Johnathan has a cast..... ugh! I think that I have recovered, and Johnathan is doing fine. Last night Johnathan stepped down out of the front door, and immediately fell to the door mat. Since that time, he has cried alot, and now has a bright green cast! Dr. Simpson, and Jill his PA, determined that it is a "toddlers fracture." It isn't displaced and his xrays look good. The plan of care is a cast for three weeks! Thanks to everyone who has helped us the last 24 hours!\

Four-Wheelers on the farm!

Today we all went down to Grandpa and Grandma Holmes' farm! Daddy worked cows with Grandpa Holmes and Uncle Clay in the morning, then we played on the four-wheelers this afternoon! It was so fun. Joseph couldn't stand to do anything else, he just kept pointing to the four wheelers, and made it clear he wasn't happy unless he was riding on them! The boys are fascinated with the sounds of the motors, and enjoyed seeing the cows, horses and mule while riding in the pasture! It was a fun day, and the boys are sleeping well upstairs tonight!

Fun Friday!

The weather outside is gorgeous!! Bright and sunny!! It is perfect for the boys to be outside, and we have been out to play several times already! Thank you so much Grandma Gail for our two- seater bike!! It is so cute! Johnathan and Joseph love it! They love to ride, climb, push, and drag their bike around the yard! Adorable!!

The name for Baby #3......

It is official.....we are having a girl!! Anthony used the ultraound from the vet clinic at 16 weeks, and thought we were having a girl. But last week at our ultrasound at the doctor's office, the assumption was validated, it's a girl! Our official due date is December 12, 2008. Anthony is doing great with human ultrasounds.....he has picked up 7 ( seven!!) of our friends at 16 weeks, and has been correct on gender each time! However, I decided to hold off my excitement until the 20 week ultrasound... so now we are super excited about all this pink!!!!

It's A Girl!
Jayne Elizabeth Warlick
As with the boys, we decided to maintain our comittment to our family, and use family names:

  • Jayne: Elizabeth's paternal grandmother

  • Elizabeth: Elizabeth's Aunt, Anthony's sister

  • Johnathan: Anthony's paternal grandfather-John

  • Taylor: Elizabeth's Dad, and maiden name of paternal grandmother

  • Joseph: Elizabeth's maternal grandfather, Elizabeth's brother

  • Vaughn: Anthony's Mom maiden name
Whew....we have decided on 6 names for our children in the last 18 months! God is so good!
Johnathan, Joseph, and Jayne Elizabeth your Mommy and Daddy love you so much!
We prayed for one, and now we will have three!

Little Pleasures

Johnathan and Joseph LOVE outside. Rocks, bugs, dirt, sticks, leaves, and trees are a few of their favorite things! Last night Anthony had the boys outside while I was resting inside, and when he brought them back inside, Johnathan was covered in dirt! In his hair, arms, legs and diaper was black, gritty dirt!! He went straight to the tub! The simple things of nature provide the boys so much pleasure!

Grandpa Tim and Grandma Nadine

Johnathan and Joseph enjoyed all the attention over the weekend!! Grandpa Tim, Grandma Nadine, Uncle Ross, Uncle Craig, and Uncle Kent all came to visit! The boys were a little overwhelmed at first, but then they enjoyed all the play time! It was so nice to have the extra hands to entertain the boys. Johnathan and Joseph had so much fun reading books, playing outside, and walking everywhere!
