A long Saturday

Wow-- we are so tired! This morning we all went to Spring City to visit Papa and Aunt Frances, then Mommy took Joseph to a Pampered Chef party and Dad and Johnathan went to a high school softball fundraiser! We will all sleep good tonight.
Joseph and Papa discussing great-grandparents! Johnathan with Sarah at her house warming party!

Sweet dreams angels....

Daddy enjoying an afternoon nap with Joseph!
Johnathan, sleeping!! yeah! We have really been working on getting the boys to sleep better at night. The past few nights both boys were only up once to eat! Johnathan is an early riser at 5:00, and Joseph sleeps in until about 6:30!
The boys are learning to find their pacifiers by themselves during the night...this is a big help! Anthony and I have walked many miles back and forth to their room to give them a pacifier! Ugh!! ( we put many pacifiers in their beds to make it easier for them to find one at night!!! ha!)
Joseph is a good sleeper, but he likes to be on a pillow!

The afternoon outside.....

After voting the boys enjoyed a cool afternoon outside in the yard! We went for a walk, and then played on a blanket in the front yard!
Johnathan was amazed with the leaves blowing in the trees! Joseph loved playing with the leaves!

Super Bowl

We all went over to our friends Dave and Sarah's new house for a party! "Aunt" Tina, "Uncle" Dale, Melvin and Lori were all there. It was lots of fun! Mommy and Daddy had lots of good food, but we just had applesauce.
Daddy and Johnathan watching the big game!
Joseph was a blur, he is being slid on the floors by "Aunt" Tina, he loved it!!Joseph, before half-time!Johnathan, before half-time!
Mommy and Daddy left the party at half time to go home and put us to bed....but we think we heard them upstairs cheering the name "Eli!!"

There is a fish in my kitchen.....

Uncle Clay has been working hard on the farm while Grandpa and Grandma Holmes visit our friends back in Florida. Uncle Clay also has been working hard at our house!! Tonight he came over and cooked fresh trout, marinated chicken, homemade potatoes au gratin, and friend cream corn!!! Before bed we went to tell Uncle Clay good night, and we saw a fish in our kitchen!!!! Aunt Justina arrived after work, but we were already in bed.

Joseph scared Mommy!! He reached out and attempted to grab this fish!! Ugh!!
(Uncle Clay was pretty impressed!)
Johnathan was interested, but only from a distance! Note the large garlic he is playing with...hmmm Uncle Clay.
Mommy has recovered from the experiences with the fish, but Mommy is concerned about raising two little boys!! :)

Oh taste an see.....

We are learning to use our sippy cups! This week we started finger foods. Joseph has decided that he does not want to eat pureed food! Ugh--- He did so well for 6 weeks and now he turns his head at the sight of a spoon!! But Joseph enjoys small pieces of finger foods!! Johnathan LOVES to eat purees and does not like small finger foods in his mouth! Ughh-- these little boys!! Yesterday at breakfast we decided to let them "experience and explore" their pureed food....enjoy the pictures!! Joseph exploring the spoon....
Johnathan emptying his sippy cup and Joseph pushing his bowl off the tray!!
